Posted December 12, 200717 yr CbY_dWObLho Looks amazing! I think this season could be the best yet but the way the writers strike is going, it looks like it could mess up the way it's shown. I hope it doesn't spoil things. As for the big spoiler, after lots of little information trickling out, the first major spoiler has come out. Basically, we find out through the flash forwards that only six people have got off the island. They have become semi famous and are known as "the oceanic 6". They are: Hurley, Jack, Kate, Sun, Jin and Sayid. Other than that, the info is a bit sketchy. It could be that others get off the island that weren't on flight 815 like Desmond and Juliette. But personally I think the only ones that get off the island are the 6 named. My personal view of this info is that in order to save the island from the newcomers on the freighter, Ben has to reveal more and more secrets to the Losties. I reckon that eventually the Others and the Losties will be one group trying to protect the island. Apparently is season 4 the Losties will split into two groups, one headed by Jack and one by Sawyer, and from other spoilers it seems Sawyers group will know that the freighter people aren't there for rescue. Eventually, I think there will be a choice whether to stay or not, probably at the end of season 5, which is about when Sun's pregnancy would cause her death and knowing what they do about the island, most choose to stay. Any thoughts on this?
December 12, 200717 yr I thought they were going to put Season 4 on hold till 2009, because of the writers strike, and have 1 long season with 26 episodes, with Season 5 the last series.
December 12, 200717 yr I thought they were going to put Season 4 on hold till 2009, because of the writers strike, and have 1 long season with 26 episodes, with Season 5 the last series. Series 4 is definitley happening; it's just a question of for how long. Stats 6th of Feb in the US and I cannot wait. My views on the spoilers: I think Jack etc. will be rescued either this series or next series as they'll need to or Sun will die, and then Jack will try to convince the 6 of them to all go back via the flashforwards. I still wanna know why Jack wants to go back, i've a feeling it'll be because he feels guilty that some of the people got left behind. I think it's definitely set up that Kate's carrying Sawyer's baby so maybe Sawyer sacrafices himself to stay or the island so Kate, Jack etc. can go as he's really got no life back in the real world. Well, it's either that or he dies. And what about Claire too, surely Jack would rather see her leave the island that himself? I think other people have to get off the island. We still don't know who was in that coffin, and I think it's Ben personally as he's the only one who'd really have no-one. Locke, Bernard, Rose will want to stay on the island, i've the feeling Juliet may die and Desmond will find Penny at some point. Michael and Libby as back this season too, which should be interesting. Michael's coming back as a main cast member [no Walt though!] and Libby's apparently gonna appear in someone's flashback/flashforward.
December 13, 200717 yr Can't wait for season 4...that promo looks brilliant! Shame about the writers strike though...I think they were planning on showing the first 8 episodes and then the next 8 later in the year or in 2009? :(
December 13, 200717 yr i have screen shots :) SPOILER: CHARLIE IS ALVE!!!!!, well i think, he is in the trailor so i would think so, if you want screenshots and a slow version of the trailor go to http://spoilerslost.blogspot.com/2007/12/l...gh-quality.html
December 13, 200717 yr Author I don't think Charlie's alive...I know he's in the trailer but I reckon he might just be a manifestation of the island, like Jack's dad, Boone and Walt. Although, after what Mikail's seemingly having 9 lives, anything is possible. About Jack wanting to return to the island, a few people have said that it's out of guilt but personally I think it's completely selfish. I think his life on the island was so much better than what he went back to, as Ben pointed out to Jack at the end of season 3. I mean, he has no wife, no dad, no job and he doesn't even have Kate, despite her getting off the island too. Whereas, on the island he had a purpose and a goal.

So there'll be 24 episodes next season I think which is like a normal full season. Makes it even worse as apparently episode 8 has a huge cliffhanger! They made such a fuss about his death that if he didn't die it'd be a let-down tbh. They reedeemed his character and I don't think there was much else that could have been done with his character and he got the best death so far. ^_^ That's probably true tbh. All of what Ben's said has turned out to be true so I expect that will be too. I think they've begun using flashforwards too as it's the only way that they can really explain Walt. There's definitely some time difference between the island and real life and that's why i've a feeling that they'll be rescued sometime this series.
December 15, 200717 yr Author Lost is back on the 31st January 2008 in America at 9pm :D That will be an all nighter for me lol!

December 15, 200717 yr Lost is back on the 31st January 2008 in America at 9pm :D That will be an all nighter for me lol! 31st of Jan! :o Even better! Not idea when it'll start on Sky One. I'd have imagined it'll air on the Sunday again so maybe the 4th of Feb? Depends of what Sky One want to do though because of the writers strike. They might hold the series back till next year if it's an incomplete season, who knows.
December 15, 200717 yr Author ABC will have eight episodes of "Lost," which were penned pre-strike. Net will supplement the Jan. 31 launch by repeating last year's finale on Jan. 30; a new "Lost" recap special is also in the works. Source: Variety I reckon Sky might wait a bit longer to show Lost because their shows are drying up fast.
December 17, 200717 yr Can't wait till it starts! :cheer: Though I can barely remember what happened in the last episode about from Charlie dying :(
December 18, 200717 yr That trailer makes the new series look EXCELLENT. I really cannot wait! We've got our first look at some of the new characters, and the whole helicopter stuff looks really good too. :o
December 18, 200717 yr Really can't wait for this series to start now! I'm getting the Season 3 boxset for Xmas so I'm gonna re-watch that all before the new series :)
December 19, 200717 yr Author The helicopter shots look amazing, they give me goosebumps for some reason! And is that Naomi attacking Kate?? Is she still alive?
