January 27, 200817 yr The sneak peak where Hurley talks about Charlie being dead to the rest of the group and Claire is crying, makes me really sad but also that the episode will be amazing! It didn't make me sad but it was quite touching I shall admit. Very good acting on his behalf anyway. Charlie's death will be the spine for this season, well so it seems at least. I think Jack's his usual dick of himself in the sneak peaks too. But then when you think about it, Charlie's just died for their saviour so it explains his ruthlessness towards Locke.
January 28, 200817 yr Has anyone else been watching the Lost Mobsides too? I've not watched them, but I watched the last one as it was said to be something special and oh my! ;o Talk about blowing a fish out the water. I can't wait to see how the writers explain link that into the new series!
January 29, 200817 yr Author Yeah, most of the mobisodes have been pretty rubbish. The only decent one was this last one and Room 23. Can't believe this starts again in a couple of nights. I just got my housemate into Lost and we just finished season 3 and she was so amazed by the ending. I was so jealous because she would only have 3 days to wait for season 4 whereas I've been waiting since May. Can't believe it's been that long! Edited January 29, 200817 yr by Ashley
January 29, 200817 yr ABC is advertising the $h!t out of the season premiere for Lost. I'm guessing they really want people to come back and watch the show after about 8 months of hiatus!
January 29, 200817 yr ABC is advertising the $h!t out of the season premiere for Lost. I'm guessing they really want people to come back and watch the show after about 8 months of hiatus! And add that to the fact there's literally nothing else on Thursday nights anymore, well, in terms of new shows at least so it'll absolutely breeze through the timeslot and bring ABC loads of money.
February 1, 200817 yr Loved the first eppy. Very good acting from Hurley throughout the episode especially when he told Claire that Charlie was dead. I love the irony they're beginning to put in the show too. :heehee: Especially with Jack when Hurley tells him they have to go back and then Jack says they shouldn't. I think Hurley is very important to the island though now. You can only see Jacob if he summons you and he summoned Hurley for whatever reason. I don't think the close up of the eye we saw in cabin was Locke's either.
February 3, 200817 yr Author I wasn't too impressed with the first eppy. It was good, but didn't have the same amazement of the openings from the other seasons. And there was something off with the pace, there was too much going on but still nothing happened. Like I don't think the Kate and Naomi thread was really necessary. The interesting bits were Charlie saying "they need you" and "you have to go back" or something like that. And Abaddon saying "Are they dead?" I'm intruigued as to what they've had to hide in order to get off the island. Also, Hurley saying "I shouldn't have gone with Locke." So he shouldn't have gone with Locke, but he shouldn't have left the island...which kind of is a contradiction. All very intresting, but I think it was just a taster for what's to come.
February 3, 200817 yr I was actually really disappointed with the season premiere. :( We didn't really learn anything new and nothing really exciting happened. Still there's always next week... but I don't hold out much hope considering that we're only getting 8 episodes and the first one was a bit rubbish...
February 4, 200817 yr i thought it was brilliant im intrigued by the guy who spoke to hurley in the mental home. i reckon the series will get muych more exciting from episode 2 though. it was awesome to see Jacob again, if anyone has screenshots please post them, im going to look for some. also, why did Jack and Kate looked so shocked when they saw the parachuted man, i reckon he is secrectly desmond, well thats my crappy theroy anyway. Did they looked so shocked becuase he landed so fast?
February 4, 200817 yr I thought it was brilliant as well!! The flashforwards were really interesting...I really wanna know what the secret is that the Oceanic 6 have, they're clearly covering something up It was so sad when Hurley told Claire that Charlie had died :( :( Can't wait til the next episode!!! :D Edited February 4, 200817 yr by Natanna
February 4, 200817 yr Just watched it online, was good! That guy who came to see Hurley was really creepy  Can't believe Jack was gonna shoot Locke
February 4, 200817 yr CHRISTIAN SHEPARD IS JACOB!!! POSSIBLY in the Jacob scene in the last episode when it showed jacob in a chair it was Christain Shepard, so he could be Jacob, but however it was definatly him and i have found a screenshot to prove it. http://bp2.blogger.com/_8HhjIy50yEY/R6KepKLiPEI/AAAAAAAAAQU/B5x9-faA0pc/s1600-h/mr.shephard2.jpg i want to know who's eye it was though, ive heard either Locke or Mikhail but isomeone has mentioned Desmond and i think this screenshot shows more Desmond than anyone else http://bp3.blogger.com/_8HhjIy50yEY/R6KaJaLiPBI/AAAAAAAAAP8/svTeZ1h0Epk/s1600-h/the.eye.png If screenshots are gay and dont work go here: http://losteastereggs.blogspot.com/2008/02...ob-and-eye.html
February 4, 200817 yr I don't think Jacob is Christian. He might just be using his body. I can't even think of a logical explanation tbh, it's just veryy confusing. :( I think they put Christian in the chair purposely to confuse the audience. I hope they touch a bit more of Jacob this season however, he's a very interesting character that we've heard a lot about, but know literally nothing about him.
February 4, 200817 yr Just finished watcing it. Excellent, and as usual ended just as you wanted to see what was going to happen. Was never going to live up to the huge expectations after the truly amazing Season 3 final though was it? I suspect the next few epsodes are going to be alot better.
February 5, 200817 yr ^ usually network shows have 22-24 eps per season but ABC made a deal w/ the creators for 3 more 16 episode seasons and be done with it. This way they can plot out exactly how it's going to end and hopefully not have any or very little filler episodes. I didn't like this first episode that much. only a few things i thought were interesting, it sort of just dragged on and nothing much happened. it's interesting that hurley now regrets listening to charlie now.. why is that? does that mean the people who's boat it was really were 'good' after all? and somehow the two groups will meet again on the island [jacks' and the locke group that went into hiding] they have to since both jack & hurley got off and they weren't in the same group. maybe they come together to try and fight off these new people who came to 'rescue' them? who knows, but it'll be interesting to start to understand or figure it out as the season goes on. February 7, 200817 yr It is silly doing 16 episodes seasons. The reason is probebly to do with them making more money on the DVD boxsets
February 7, 200817 yr It is silly doing 16 episodes seasons. The reason is probebly to do with them making more money on the DVD boxsets  It's because of the network [ABC] that shows Lost in America. The producers wanted to do 2 more seasons of 24 episodes each but ABC wanted to cash in on the whole thing before it died so they came to the agreement of 3 seasons. I would have much prefered 2 full seasons but hohum. Episode 2 will be avaliable soon anywayy. :w00t:
