What an excellent episode that was. So many answers finally :D I am abit confused about the whole Whitmore thing though, did he plan the plane to crash, and if he did'nt, how did he find out about the island?

The whole Widmore thing's a bit sketchy. I think Ben was telling the truth in that Widmore set up the fake plane crash, although to be fair it still could have been The Others! But I find it very unlikely that it was them. I have the feeling that when no-one found the plane crash for a month of so Widmore staged the crash so that no-one would end up finding the island, and i've the feeling he's visited the island before, maybe as part of Dharma? I think the whole boat race thing was staged too with Desmond as Widmore wanted him to end up on the island.

I'm hoping this temple that the others are at (if it excists) is something to do with that giant 4 toed foot they showed last season. They can't let that go unanswered.

i heard something like ABC thought that was to werid so they had to ditch it, but im not to sure on the reliabilty on that, hopefully we will find out about that, i hope the temple is related to it! Ive heard therorys that the temple is related to time travel.

I read the same thing, but i don't think they've ditched it. Apparently ABC said something like it was two weird and should of had six toes and the lost producers didn't see how a four toed statue is any weirder than a six toed one. I think the temple is a Dharma station, it had a dharma logo next to it on Ben's map.

 

And as for the 4 toed statue, I think that has something to do with Charlotte; she's a cultural anthropologist which is someone who studies ancient civilisations.

We saw Frank leave in the helicopter in episode 7 so I definitely think he's taken some of the mercenaries on the freighter to begin a genesis on the island.

 

So far I was thinking that it was the Others that shot Karl and Danielle but reading that has swayed me. I had forgotton about Frank and his mysterious departure.

I still think there's a high chance it though the The Others but in terms of future storylines I think it's really got to be the freighter people. We know the Oceanic 6 get off the island, but it all must happen very quickly so i'm gonna go with it's the freighter people and this will set up the backbone for the rest of season 4. Didn't Frank mention that he wasn't happy with the errand he was running? I think he's one of the innocent people Ben was on about when talking to Michael that he's totally in the dark about killing everyone on the island.

 

This really sums up what we have seen in Lost so far.

Apparently there's now going to be 14 episodes of Lost this season! The producers are in talks with ABC for another episode this season. I don't think the chances of it happening are very likely tbh, but there's a distinct possibility. ^_^

Nah I definitely think it was the freighter people. It was set up by the writers to look like it was the Others, but why the need to sniper them if they were part of the Others? Would have been much easier to shoot them in cold blood. Sky have changed the airdate for the resumption of Season 4 from 27th April to 11th May. This has been done so that there is no break in scheduling unlike the US. The Season finale will now show on June 8th.
