Latest Betfair odds:

After Three Songs each (After Two Song each)

Rhydian 2/9 on (30/100) shortening sharply

Same Difference 7/1 (5/1) drifting sharply

However on BBC Sports Personality of The Year 2007 last week, Betfair odds on Lewis Hamilton were 2/11 on to win and he lost...........

SD to win!

Anyway, they should release something, a single at least, and it'll be big ^_^

Rhydian - Somewhere

Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant. A stunning vocal performance. Forget Russell Watson, Paul Potts & Aled Jones, that was better than all of them. 10

Couldn't agree more. It will be a travesty if he doesn't win.

Have you voted for them? I have!

what time do the results show come on?
And I'm sick of hearing you complain about him all the time when he is clearly the only one in the competition who can really REALLY bloody sing. How ANYONE with proper hearing, after that amazing peformance, regarldless of whether you like that type of singing or not, could possibly deny that this guy deserves to win and is head and shoulders above the other two karaoke kiddie acts, is beyond me quite frankly.

Agree with you 100%...or maybe 90% since I do think SD is better than a karaoke act. In all fairness Rhydian should win, he has been the most constant singer through the competition and again tonight he was the best. SD for runner-up position and Leon out now.

me neither. might aswell be mandarin chinese for all the sense it makes to me.

i think it means there's more chance of leon being booted out though (hopefully).

As the judges of BBC1's AnyDream Will Do (John Barrowman, Denise Van Outen & Andrew Lloyd Webber) have commented...but as ALW himself said & John Barrowman repeated...

The same John Barrowman with the obvious pro-Scooch bias in the Eurovision pre-selection for the UK? -_- As a judge I reckon he'd be going all out for Same Difference if he were on X Factor <_<

I just voted for Same Difference :magic:

Leon = if there were 9 X Factors repeated under the exact same conditions, he'd win one

Same Difference = if there were 9 repeated under the exact same conditions, they'd win two

Rhydian = if there was one X Factor repeated under the same conditions, he'd win it four times

Basically, 9/1 = 9, 9/2 = 4.5, 1/4 = 0.25, the closer the number is to zero the more chance there is of winning...

Yup because they know what cool pop music is about!

It's not about having the biggest voice of the world, it's about recording f***ing great pop songs!

I havent got a clue what these odd's mean, so..

As a guide odds of 1/1 are known as Evens = Which means an act has a 50% chance of winning according to the odds offered by the bookies.

Hence, if an act is 1/2 (2 to 1 on) they have a 66.6% chance of winning because they are twice as likely to win as not win; 1/3 (3 to 1 on) they have a 75% chance of winning, because they are three times as likely to win.

Therefore in this example above:

Rhydian 1/4 = 80% chance (4 times as likely to win as not win)

Same Difference = 9/2 = 18.18% chance (will win twice for every 9 times they lose = a 2 in 11 chance of winning)

Leon 9/1 = 10% chance (9 times as likely to not win, as win = a 1 in 10 chance of winning)
