The band have released a statement on their official website claiming that they are adding the finishing touches to the follow-up to 2005's X&Y. The messages reads: "The ups and downs come thick and fast at this point in proceedings. "One minute we’re over the moon about a new artwork idea, the next we’re all gloomy about our slow progress in designing the live show. "We’re trying to pull all the threads together and get these songs (and all the hoopla that goes with them) ready to present to the big wide world." According to the Daily Star, the Brian Eno-produced LP will be called Prospeckt and feature a brass band on one track.
December 14, 200717 yr This definitely confirms a new album pretty much next year then! :D Should be good. I'd take the apparent album title with a pinch of salt as its source isn't the most credible. :lol: But we shall see.
