Ive just heard on SKY NEWS when they was reading the front pages of 2morrows papers that the Daily Star has put that Baby is out of the tour cos of her injury! :(

 

If this is true im so mad!!!!

 

THE Spice Girls were locked in crisis talks last night over fears that injured Emma Bunton might have to quit their comeback tour.

 

The group are due on stage at London’s O2 Arena tonight, kicking off 17 concerts.

 

And the frenzy for tickets was so great yesterday that some fans were offering touts as much as £5,000.

But Baby Spice Emma, 31, is hobbling around on crutches after spraining her ankle during their final Las Vegas gig.

Her injury has already forced the group to pull out of performing on Strictly Come Dancing on BBC1 tomorrow. Now there are fears she might have to quit the entire tour.

 

Options being considered by Victoria Beckham, 33, Mel B, 32, Geri Halliwell, 35, and Mel C, 33, are postponing the concerts altogether or having Emma propped on a stool on stage.

Emma said last night: “I’m praying I will be all right, even if I have to go on stage with crutches. I’m seeing David Beckham’s doctor.”

 

But an insider said: “You just can’t see Emma going ahead with it on crutches.

“She is going to look daft.”

Her injury has not stopped the fight for tickets for tonight’s gig.

With all 20,000 selling in just 30 seconds, some touts have been offered up to £5,000 a piece by desperate fans.

 

The girls faced more bad news yesterday with bookies saying Geri was odds-on favourite to quit the band.

Insiders reckon the band will split after the reunion tour.

And Ladbrokes say Geri has attracted more than 90% of bets and is 5-6 to be the first to walk.

 

I hope its not cancelled and they just put her on a stool or something!

Emma always hurts her ankle doesn't she? I remember when I was young my mum told me Emma had twisted her ankle and I, not knowing what that was at the time, thought that meant her foot like twisted round 180 degrees or something because I kept saying "how do you twist an ankle?". Anyway random anecdote over...

 

I thought it was a given that the band will be "splitting up" after the tour. They've always said that this is a goodbye tour and once it's over that will be it for the Spice Girls.

I wouldn't believe this story to be honest, there has already been a statement saying Emma wont be dropping out...

surely all going bad she can be there it it means sitting down

I don't think her injury is that bad that she will have to pull out of the whole tour! Sure she may have to cut back on the dances for a couple of shows, but not stopping the whole tour!

 

I think the injury is being made out to be much worse than it is by the press.

i thought they were going to split after the tour anyways? isn't this a farewell tour to wrap up the spice girls.

I hope this is just the usual c**p we expect from the Daily Star, will be very upset if she can't do the tour. :( TBH from what I've seen the dance moves aren't that strenuous anyway so I think she should be ok. For the love of God though why is she still wearing high heels?? Someone give the girl some trainers!!! :lol:
