Break The Ice was in the top 15 in yesterday's midweeks. I think this will turn out to be her lowest charting single! :(

It could do, but eitherway it will beat 'I love rock 'n' roll' in the long run. Sales are more important that chart positions, it will probably sell more and the chart run will be FAR better! ^_^ and it will also help boost album sales and get Blackout back into the Top 40 :D

That's 269k chart sales since August 2022, working out as 1,993 average each week.

I agree with you. ^_^ It'll probably be more successful then quite a few of her other singles anyways. Plus, BTI is already helping the album to sell more and rise in the albums chart.

I think BTI may be one of her lowest charting singles, but I do think that it will have alot more endurance then ILRNR, DLMBTLTK, etc.
Yeah, I think this single still has the potential to hang around longer. Hopefully by some chance it can rise next week or something to give it a better peak. It still made top 15 though which is good.

Break The Ice REALLY has helped Blackout, I hope it can get back into the top twenty next week!
agreed. Blackout was listed as Top 40 all week in the midweeks so 25 is great! Shame BTI slipped a couple of places but as said at least its still Top 15. Maybe it can rise with an extra day of physicals on sale this week!

Top 20 on Tuesday midweeks, and BTI is a non mover!

UK chart positions for Britney this week:

"Piece Of Me" - down 7 spots from #40 to #47.

"Break The Ice" - down 2 spots from #15 to #17.

"Blackout" - up 6 spots from #25 to #19.

Well...we were all expecting BTI to fall on the chart, but at least it was only 2 spots. POM is doing great, one of the most enduring singles for Britney in the UK and still Top50 after many weeks. Blackout reached one of the highest positions in a long time climbing to the Top20 once again and showing no signs of slowing down ;)

I got all the sale figures from a Britney site that is pretty accurate...MP was also released in November so sales were alot higher. It was also when her, eminem, Christina, and 2 other big artists were fighting for number one...

Ahhh yep thats true, still really suprising though ain't it when you look at its run.
I still think those sales figures for both "My Prerogative" and "Do Somethin" are pretty exagerated... I believe MP sold around 100,000 and DS sold around 60,000 copies.

My Prerogative has been officially certified silver so that means it has sold 200k or more...

Piece of Me falls 7 positions at #54 on it's 20th week within the top 75, and it is less then 20,000 copies away from being certified, and if it make 3 more weeks on the chart it will be her longest running single ever!

Break The Ice 4 spots to #21, which is not that bad, bringing her sales to a modest 40k.

Blackout stays in the same position as last week staying at #19...hopefully it will continue to generate steady sales!

UK chart positions for Britney this week:

"Piece Of Me" - down 5 spots from #54 to #59.

"Break The Ice" - down 10 spots from #21 to #31.

"Blackout" - down 8 spots from #19 to #27.
