The Jacksons will play a New Year's Eve reunion concert in Atlanta, it has been claimed.

 

Rumours linking the legendary pop band with a comeback have been rife in the music press in recent weeks.

 

Suggestions that the group will return next year, alongside similar reports about central figure Michael Jackson, now look to be coming to a head.

 

Producer Jermaine Dupri, who is engaged to Janet Jackson, says he has booked them to play a medley of hits at Studio 72 in the city on January 31.

 

"It's the Jackson party. I swear to you it's going to be the biggest party this town has ever seen", he said.

 

There has been no official comment about these latest rumours from the Jackson 5 camp.
