Is there still no one supportin' in the UK?

There's no support, apparently they just play big songs over the sound system like Umbrella, Hung Up etc.

Yeah they still do the solo songs - as far as I can tell the setlist hasn't changed...

...but a couple of costumes have :kink:

I was there! It's a great show! Geri swore on stage LOL .. the only thing that was bad was that emma's mic was over autotuned or something... so she didn't sound like her singing/ when she spoke she sounded chipmonk?? like... but when i saw her singing on the news singing she sounded normal :S Mel B humped a man on stage! everytime victoria sang or appeared on the big screen.. the crowd went INSANE... they went mad for them all but victoria could have farted on stage and she would have got the biggest cheer!... Geri's solo was ace but mel c's stole it! Viva forever was really sad.. if you go you will understand what i mean (at the end of the song)... too much to say but it was amazing ^_^

glad you had fun! I SO WANT TO GOO :(

yay for victoria  she rocks! wish she did a solo though!

I can't wait for January 6th!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yay for Victoria! Hope Emma's mic is fixed by the time I see her...

I think that's just what happens when you go see a really loud pop concert and a very large venue. The sheer volume just makes voices sound higher pitched than they actually are, it's hard to explain. Obviously since Emma's voice is the highest of the group, it sounded unnaturally high in the arena.

I think that's what it was anyway - if it was over-autotuned it wouldn't affect her speaking voice.

Was anyone sitting close to stage in A blocks? What was the sound and view like there?

I'm going tomorrow!!

To help me plan our trip could anybody who was there tell me what time the doors actually opened at, and what time the Girls were due onstage or what time the show actually started?

Thanks!

Well unless you want to be in a massive queue make sure your at the right number on your ticket (A B C D E F G H etc) at 6:30 and then you will wait about 30mins... then they let you in where you have to wait 2 hours!!! they came on at around 8:30 and it finished at 10:30pm ish!

We got to the O2 Arena at 3pm! Brought Mercandise and had dinner then went to the concert - best that way :)

Haha I won't be buying merchandise :P

OK thanks. Gotta travel from Central London, so at least I've got an idea of the time I have to get there.

Travel from Central London? - the O2 Arena (North Greenwich) is 10 mins/5 stops from Waterloo on the Jubilee Line or something like that

Thanks :)

We're staying near Green Park, which I've just discovered it on the Jubilee Line itself so it shouldn't be too complicated.

Right gotta go to bed - got an early flight to catch!

Yeah, i got there at 6:30.. massive queue, got through and went up some stairs, found my correct door and then waited outside the door for like 45 mins! then they let you find your seat, and you are sat there until like 8:20ish and it finishes at 10:30... if you want alcohol, get it before going up the stairs, as i could only find food/ soft drinks on the floor near where you to through the doors to your seat, so i just sat and sulked until they came on!

Cool! Green Park is very central - its near Oxford Street and Regent Street too :) Have fun!

Heyhey! I'm back!

Quite a few spoilers in this post!!!!!

Well what can I say it was fantastic! Despite our seats...we were in the VERY BACK ROW!!! We couldn't physically have been any further from the stage...even the screens looked small from where we were sitting! Thankfully the show was so energetic it didn't really matter.

Very good decision to open and close with Spice Up Your Life, as I really don't think Wannabe would have been a good final song. I thought the solo songs were great, although I don't see why Victoria had to do that stupid catwalk thing. If she didn't want to do a solo song for whatever reason, then nobody would have really noticed had she just not done anything. Slotting that in was just incredibly random!

Emma did very well considering her injury, which was only really obvious during "Maybe" when I noticed her dancers were helping her about a little bit.

Oh! And Mama was great. It was kind of cringey when the children's choir came on (I don't think it was necessary), but it was incredibly sweet when all the Spice Kids came onstage. The younger kids were wearing big green earplugs it was cute, and Pheonix was singing along!

Hmmm what else.....Viva Forever gave me shivers, especially the introduction.....the Celebration medley was good......was baffled at the response Victoria got......loved what they did with Too Much.

The only downsides I'd say was the lack of interaction with the audience, and the amount of miming! I knew they would have backing vocals on the track for harmonies, but they did mime quite a bit.

Other than that a great night, and London was amazing! :D
