Did you have fog/blizzard?

I'm feeling really flat and I can't focus on any one thing I need to do. I a lot further ahead than I usually am at this time.
I'm gong to start Christmas shopping today. I should be doing allsorts but, because the internet was down yesterday, I'm on here instead.

I've finished my Christmas shopping but I'm chauffeuring friends who haven't, so I'm off to the out of town shopping centre again tonight.
Well, I'm a third of the way through. We left my mum with my father-in-law and she coped fine - except for the fact that he was trying to undress to have a wash and shave as he thought he'd just been woken up in the morning but we persuaded him that it was 15:30 instead.

wrapped some presents today, did the rest of my shopping, only want salad and bread rolls Monday.

Had to be organised as I start nights Thursday finishing Christmas Eve morning.

Off to bed now

At last. Still no sign of a doctor?

I should be getting ready to go to the dentist. I'm here trying to take my mind off it.

had the dogs out, their claws clipped, wrapped a few more presents, visited my mother-in-law...but forgot to take her card, eaten lunch

...now I need to visit my mum, catch you later

I'm going to have dinner early tonight and then relax for a bit afterwards before I tackle more wrapping.
The nurse came - not the one I was expecting, the district nurse still hasn't arrived. This was a nurse for mental disturbances. She was really helpful and good to talk to. It seems that, for someone his age, there is no medication but what we are doing is the best way to deal with him. She's going to try and get us 2 hours cover each week so we can go out during the day, which will be nice.

That's good, Meg. Just a little break can make all the difference. Maybe being with someone else might be a stimulus for your father-in-law in his more lucid moments.

I'm glad I decided to have a night in tonight - it's freezing fog here. Brrr!

We're getting to the stage that we'll beliee it when it happens.

I hate freezing fog

At least you felt as if she listened and understood and will do something and I hope it does happen. You need a break each day.
