I always used to get ideas and new gadgetsbut the last few times I went, I came away disappointed.
I came back from the 'Vitality' show with cheese, drinks, and vouchers. It was a good atmosphere and, being the first day, much quieter than it will be for the weekwend.
Going for the papers - in the rain. We seem to be having half days of warm spring followed or leading from half days of wind and rain.

I have to go into town. I now have 3 reasons to go. If I put it off much longer, I'll have to stay in town all day and I'd absolutely hate that.
It's not very cold here - just very wet. The dog doesn't care but, he'll have to wait. I don't want to get drenched again and then find that the sun comes out within minutes of getting home dripping wet.

We've had it dry and cold for a few days now but the ground is still too hard for me to dig.
I've loved this week. Half a day of spring every day is so nice. I can live with the other half being gray or wet.

I'd just like a little warmth. I love seeing the Spring flowers etc.but it would be so much nicer to see people without winter coats.
Well, we've had a lot of that all year. Maybe we'll suffer later. I think Edinburgh in June was colder than most days here have been this winter. When I go this summer, I'm hoping for some sunshine.

I wonder what we'll be talking about this time next week? What could possible be happening a week tonight?

I'm going to take the dog out for a walk in the nice sunshine.

I used to have one. When the car crashed it went. They just say that my memory is still better than average but, it drives me mad.

We've had a lot of rain this week....everytime I've wanted to take the dogs out :(

Caught up with the colour of magic tonight....I enjoyed it :)

Off to bed now....working from 7:30 am

Have a good day. I'm off to docklands museum this afternoon as my daughter got highly commended in a writing competition she entered, so is getting a prize.
The prize giving was lovely and the winning story in the under 16 category, amazing. I don't think there was a dry eye in the theatre as they played a dvd made by the winner -a 10 year old girl with cerebal palsy, who talks through a computer synthesizer. This girl is so intelligent and articulate and her descriptions of the park she wrote about just beautiful. She well deserved her win.
