Well, I was tucked up in bed asleeep. Awake now and about to watch the recording of Loose women from the early hours.
I had another very disturbed night. I wish I didn't. I'm more tired when I get up than when I went to bed. I don't think I'd swop with you on Monday, Spam.

I slept really soundly last night but then I'd been on the go since 7 am on Wednesday morning. I knew I shouldn't have tried to cram in another full day's sightseeing, especially not the longish architectural walk before my flight but it was too hard to resist.

I really loved Toronto. It's another city I'd happily live in............... well at least for most of the year - I don't think I could bear their winters.

My brother doesn't live that far from Toronto.

What I shouldn't have done is bought the McVitie Golden Syrup cake, Irrestible. Soon to have disappeared.

We spent a night/2 days in Toronto.....very nice but didn't see too much.

We did go up the CN Tower and eat in the revolving resturant....just as evening was falling....so got the day and night views.

I should be re-writing our tip and hints folder....due to management changes and their new costs + new facilities in the area.

We are waiting for the ADT man to sort out some security cameras and then the Management are coming for our first meeting......I have a list....wonder if I will get through it

Don't envy you that lot.

I've just started on my correspondence pile. I should have done it earlier.

That sounds much more inviting than going out for my washing which I think I'll have to do very soon. the dark clouds are gathering here. I can feel rain coming.

and I've seen fewer men in kilts in Glasgow.

Were there many kilties in Manchester mid week? Thank goodness my train journey back was on the East Coast route. I'll bet the West Coast trains were heaving.

There seems to have been quite a bit of trouble. I'll let one of the others answer as I've been busy in the South.

I was really disappointed to read of the violence. I thought British supporters had learned their lesson that sport is more fun with friendly rivalry. Apparently not.
It spoils things. It's what stopped my Dad takining me to football - after that he'd only take my brother. i was not happy.
I'm not surprised Meg. I wouldn't have been happy either

trying to phone Neil to sort his on-line booking in, but he's not in.

going for a swim instead

Yes, it's been a miserable day and I have a headache.
