Well I was asleep but woke up at 4am

off to get the papers. Dad decided he could go down stairs by himself. We now have to find a barrier. he can hardly walk today - very dicey - and he said he knew he shouldn't do it. He's shattered now.

Even if it did tire him out, he must be feeling in good spirits to attempt it.

No, he's just very confused and very fragile. He just couldn't remember to call and we were both waiting for him. It'd be dreadful for him when we can't leave him on his own anywhere at any time. It's this thing of trying to give him some privacy. Then, when we're needed, he just calls and we come. If he was feeling good, he wouldn't have got confused and try and do it.

So would I. Then we can start to think about moving on. I'd like this finished before the new album is out.
