Did you beat him? I'll have the ice cream. can't stand beer though.

He had a lucky shot....but I beat him in the next game.

We then moved to table football and airhockey......I'm useless!!

Must get to bed so I can be up for the train in the morning.

I should be making phone calls and then going shopping. I'm really not in the mood for shopping but Fridays and the weekends are always so noisy and busy.

home....should be having an hours sleep before going to work

Meg, hope you enjoyed LOTR

We did. He denies being unnerved but, that's what he was hoping for anyway. Not many women can say they've had theuir hair sniffed by an orc. His eyes wenr completely round. Well, they are quite scary close up. The look a bit like a gorilla in battle armour. It worked very well. He fidgeted in the romantic bits but loved the rest.

Boys of his age usually squirm at romantic bits. Great he enjoyed it and more so that you also enjoyed it.
He also loved the screams from the audience when the orcs reached them and weren't in sight to us. It was very well done.

I should be going to buy a new strimmer. My old one has issues although technically it still works. The line keeps getting caught underneath the line container and the heat sticks it to the spindle underneath. I've been getting it out but I don't know if I've always got it all out and I feel it's just a matter of time until it goes on fire.

I must be in my unlucky week or something or that 3 things have to go wrong thing..

Meg, how did the special effects in LOTR ( the relevant part) compare with the burning

of Atlanta...... this relates to a comment made by one of the critics.

Glad you enjoyed it.

The special effects were much, much better in 'Lord of the Rings'. There is no comparison between the two. But, 'Gone With The Wind' has soul and 'Lord of The Rings' is a story.

I think the third thing has definitely gone wrong!

I should be putting together my new strimmer and putting it to good use but somehow or other, I'm really not quite in the mood.

I should be sleeping but can't......I can't wait to get into work to see if I can swop some duties so I can get to see it again.

Is there any chance of you whisking down BT?

It is such a shame......I love the show, if only they had let it continue to September.

I think that, with a bit of positive publicity, it'd have come right in the end. I've told Dave he may not see me much in the next 2 weeks. Fancy him having booked time to go away for work - he should have it all clear for me. I'd just have loved a brochure and cast album

I really don't know at the moment. Grabbing a time in the last week is sort of dependent on what happens in a couple of situations this week, so I can't book just now.
Definitely been too hasty in closing. So sad for the actors and everyone who has worked so hard. Watching the Nancy programme tonight - they are only opening the show in 6 months and the script is already well established. GWTW has been too rushed.
