Destiny's Child have discussed reforming the band after a number of reunions inspired them.

Singer Kelly Rowland revealed that a reformation could be on the cards and that she would like to start performing with Beyoncé Knowles and Michelle Williams again.

Rowland, who left the group when they split up in 2005, said: "This current spate of reunions has given us ideas. Despite what people say we are all still really close.

"A couple of weeks ago Beyoncé did a show in Los Angeles and asked me and Michelle to join her on stage to sing 'Survivor'. The emotion was incredible and it felt so good to be back up there with the girls again.

"It was a real tear-jerker. The fans were crying and going nuts. It was magical. I'd definitely like us to do more stuff like that."

I would love them to reform

they are great together :)

Well Kelly would certainly be up for it I'm sure... that's all I'm saying incase I offend Kelly fans init  Beyonce is pretty much a superstar as she is though, so she really doesn't need such a thing imo.
Yeah Kelly said this yesterday on the radio that they will get back together but not yet :P
rotfl. they've only been gone 5 minutes.

Nearly 3 years! And it's been too long already. -_- The finest girl group of their time need to come back NOW!

I barely noticed they had gone to be honest, you always hear about them having mini-reunions and stuff. I'd love to see them back though.

wtf?

Anyway, they've already reformed, whats the point in reforming for a second/third time?

three years! precisely!

that's more like a break rather than a break up.

I say give it another year so they can continue their solo stuff, but they are the best girl group ever so should deffo get back together sometime

The three girls of Destiny's Child are great together, and right now, I think all of their careers would benefit.

Although Ms. Kelly sold respectably, and Like This was a moderate hit (but by no means a smash), Kelly's career has somewhat stagnated.

I doubt either of the two follow-up singles will do better than Like This, and I don't think the re-release of Ms. Kelly will sell significantly more than its predecessor...

Despite a fairly successful career in gospel music, Michelle got alot of criticism for her not-so-Christian bootyshakin' with Destiny's Child, and decided to go down a more secular route...but, let's face it, she's been largely forgotten by most people. Her version of the classic "Let's Stay Together" was almost completely ignored, and none of her gospel songs crossed over to mainstream success (when you consider how the big gospel artists usually make it into the lower rungs of R&B/Hip-Hop and even Pop charts, it is sad). So I doubt her R&B album will achieve as much success as a new project from Destiny's Child...

Beyonce's sister Solange is supposedly going to join up as the fourth member, fairly predictable given her appearance in Get Me Bodied and the relative failure of her solo career. Again, anything done as Destiny's Child will easily be a greater sucess than a solo album (even though one is in the works).

But its not just them that needs this. After the phenomenal success she has enjoyed with her solo albums and numerous singles - with a new album coming out next year - Beyonce needs it too. A new project from Destiny's Child would be something new, fresh; whilst another single from Beyonce (unless it is amazingly incredibly good) would probably not be so interesting, given how almost every chart has been saturated by her music. (I am not dissing her, other artists like Nelly Furtado and Justin Timberlake are running the same risk after so many hit songs in quick sucession, of people getting tired of their sound).

So, it would be good for all of their careers...at least, that's what I think. And of course, very welcome by all the fans! They are much better together than apart, and I am glad they are not waiting as long as the Spice Girls did...
