POP star LILY ALLEN is all smiles after discovering she is pregnant with her first child, The Sun can reveal. The 22-year-old singer found she was expecting last month, but has only revealed the news to close family. She and CHEMICAL BROTHER boyfriend ED SIMONS, 37, are delighted. A source close to the singer said: “Lily is thrilled to be pregnant and can’t wait to become a mum. She’s a real family person. “Ed’s very happy. He is really looking after her.” The Smile singer has been dating Ed - who is 15 years her senior - since September. They now plan to set up home together. Lily, whose debut album Alright, Still was the huge hit of last summer, has made no secret of her desire to start a family. Our source said: “Lily could not be happier. “It’s the icing on the cake for what has been an incredible 18 months for her. She is looking forward to finishing her new album early next year and releasing it before the birth of her first child.” Lily - daughter of actor KEITH ALLEN - is expected to follow in the footsteps of CHARLOTTE CHURCH and branch out into TV in between releasing albums. BBC3 has signed her to front her own TV show Lily Allen and Friends. She is also joining comic RUSSELL BRAND for a spoof cinema version of classic novel Pride and Prejudice.

Apparently this has been confirmed, no matter how much I love Lily it's too early if it is true.

'British pop star Lily Allen is pregnant with her first child to her boyfriend, Chemical Brothers star Ed Simons, it has been reported.

 

The Sun reported the 22-year-old Smile singer found out the news last month, but has only just told her family.

 

She has been dating Simons, 37, since September.

 

A source told the tabloid Allen was excited about the news.

 

"Lily is thrilled to be pregnant and can’t wait to become a mum," the source said. "She’s a real family person. Ed’s very happy. He is really looking after her."'

She's only been dating him for 5 minutes :o Good luck to her though.

Well, compared to Jamie-Lynn Spears's pregnancy at 16, Lily's at 22 is not that shocking.

I saw a pic the other day were she was SMOKING!!! - Maybe shes not pregnant....?

Lily Allen's spokesman Jon Bills has confirmed Lily's pregnancy!

 

The 22-year-old British pop singer and her musician-boyfriend, Ed Simons of The Chemical Brothers, are expecting their first child.

 

"As the pregnancy is at such an early stage, the couple will be making no further comment but they are obviously both thrilled by the news," Bills said in a statement.

 

Allen's cheeky debut album, "Alright, Still," which includes the hit single "Smile," was released in the United States earlier this year. Her follow-up CD will be released next year, Bills said.
