5. Mutya Buena and Grove Armada - Song 4 Mutya (Outta Control)

Peak Position: 2

Weeks On Chart: 21

Chart Run: (5-4-4-7-9-13-17-20-8-[2]-4-6-13-18-19-17-15-20-23-34-38)

From the album: Real Girl

I really didn't expect much from Mutya's solo career. That quickly changed when i heard the fantastic demos that leaked. I became excited about her album. then when I finally heard the album there was one song I loved since the first verse. Song For Mutya is just so different and catchy. For a moment I really though Mutya was gonna be huge... for a moment. Regardless of charts, Song For Mutya is just AMAZING!

4. Fergie - Big Girls Don't Cry

Peak Position: 3

Weeks On Chart: 20

Chart Run: (27-17-21-16-6-4-4-4-7-10-5-5-[3]-4-7-13-11-16-23-24)

From The Album: The Dutchess

This song was everywhere. Radio, online, Commercials, the hills... there was no escaping it. And with good reason. Big Girls Don't cry is just one of those sad songs that everyone loves. It's easy for everyone to relate to it and it instanly makes you feel sad and pensive.

3. Girls Aloud - Call The Shots*

Peak Position: 1

Weeks On Chart: 11

Chart Run: ([1]-2-2-2-4-5-2-[1]-2-2-[1])

From the album: Tangled Up

Girls Aloud are awesome. It was quite hard waiting for their new single and album earlier this year. But i was not dissappointed. By the time Call The Shots came out i was already high on pop perfection. But Call The Shots really raised the stakes for the girls. Each girl truly shines in this song and the video was gorgeous. I am so glad that the single is doing so well on the charts they really deserve it.

2. Leona Lewis - Bleeding Love*

Peak Position: 1

Weeks On Chart: 14

Chart Run: (5-3-2-3-[1]-3-3-2-2-3-8-11-12-13)

From the album: Spirit

I'm sure that everyone expected huge things from Leona this year. But I doub't anyone could have expected all this success. Bleeding Love just took everyone by storm. It's such a beautiful song. And with Leona's voice its just that much more magnificent. During Bleeding Love's reign at number 1, I occasionally got tired of it being there for so long. But then I heard the song again and I realised it totally deserves it.

I don't think that my number one for 2007 should be too unexpected. This song just completely took over my chart. So without further ado here is my number one song of 2007:

There's really not much to say. This song is just PERFECT. I will never understand why or how it wasn't number one on the british charts. It's too amazing to be anything but number one.
