She deserved to win for being consistantly brilliant all series, and well done to her, but well done to Matt as well, who really put up a good fight. A great final. :D

I agree. Matt really turned himself around in the latter stages of the competition. For one moment, I thought Matt might have just snatched it from her.

I thought both they're freestyles were amaze :wub:

I thought Matt's final dance was brilliant especially with that one handed twirl better than Alesha's, I think Matt was robbed in the end.

Eh I really don't want to see my phone bill anytime soon, I lost count of the number of times I voted for lovely Alesha and Matthew. So glad they won obviously - they really deserved it and both seemed very genuine throughout the show! :wub: They always danced beautifully and it was quite inspiring at times. :wub:

The Final of SCD trumped the final of XF4 in every way possible:

 

Better judges with a vastly more relevant background making far more intelligent comments; a far superior host (Bruce Forsyth is a legend and is very heavily rumoured to be honoured with a knighthood in the New Year's Honours); two celebrity dancers at the top of their game; the Spice Girls live performance was better than Kylie's on X-Factor and their vocals were vastly superior to Girls Alouds off-key vocals on the Xmas Friday Night Project & the Sugababes awful live performance at Children In Need in November... I guess it just proves if only they came back with a great song their comeback wouldn't have flopped......... But by far the most important thing = THE BEST CONTESTANT WON!!! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: The GBP who watched at home did not fall for Matt's "sob" story from him & his family. They must have said the word "journey" over a dozen times last night for goodness sake.

 

And to think the winner of this year's SCD has got far more star quality & musical talent than this year's winner of XF!

I hope Alesha re-releases her music, it was v. good, I'm glad she didn't let a knockdown from her husband's affair stop her from doing what she enjoys. :)

Alesha owns rights to her unreleased album Fired Up, she's reworked some tracks for it and hopes for it to be released in 2008! :D

I Hope alesha can be the biggest female of next year like bruce said =D haha she just needs some goos songs!
