January 8, 200817 yr Author Enya doesn't really seem anti toward any culture to me..although of course, I can't say that for sure. I feel that she favors Japan quite a bit, though.
January 8, 200817 yr Yer I don't think she's anti-anyone for sure tbh. But yeah she has a soft spot for Japan!
January 9, 200817 yr She should have tbf. You were the ones who propelled her to crazily high sales in the 'A Day Without Rain' era!
January 10, 200817 yr Author We are largely responsible for her popularity, yes. :) I admit, I get kind of jealous that Japan gets a lot of items and shows that we don't.
January 10, 200817 yr And she was propelled to fame by the UK, so we should get a fairer share too tbh. :drink:
January 12, 200817 yr  I don't know Clare, I really can't see Enya as a member of the IRA. Seriously though, I think that any animosity on her part, if it is there at all, is directed at the culture back in those times, not the English. :) I get rather jealous of Japan too. They seem to get the most out of just about every artist I that I collect! :o It must have something to do with music sales in that country, I can't figure out why else they get so many releases and TV appearances.
January 12, 200817 yr Japan's sales are lower than the UK, USA and Germany though I believe. :( Mehhh oh well. I suppose Japan is quite a unique country! They do kill whales for fun after all. -_-
January 12, 200817 yr Author Killing whales for fun is mean. :( I think Japan gets extra things to try and boost their CD sales..but it doesn't seem to be working. :P
January 13, 200817 yr Well... maybe for fun was a little over-exagerrated. But still, I see no reason for them to be hunting whales. :smoke: It's been on the news quite a bit here over the last month or so.
