Sash! easily, not a bad single released. As for Sasha (aka German pop star and not UK techno/trance dj), i've only liked his euro mega hit "If You Believe"

well considering all the 90s europop/eurodisco stuff they are closer to each other than you think, typically the kind of people you would find in Bravo magazine with interviews/pull out poster.

 

after the faceless dance act anthem of Encore Une Fois, it was very obv that the act (with the focus on Sascha Lappessen) was turned into a cheesy pop act, and obv they did a few ballads as well

totally disagree with you. They remained a dance act, and as far as I know they only released one slower song (Just Around The Hill) which didnt even get airplay - all the main stations playlisted the dance version.

but man you are missing the point, yes they are dance act, but it could be said so is dannii, kylie and any other pop acts who are doing what is essentially Hi-NRG disco.

 

however i dont think perf wise Lappessen in anyway could be compared with Alexander Coe, its not really superstar dj nation* it is more smash hits and Bravo magazine than mixmag and dj with Lappessen at his keys more like a synthpop act set up when with his featured vocalist, than any superstar dj spiining faceless dance acts and larging it up at the Big Beat Boutique.

nah, Kylie and Dannii have experimented with dance but they're pop artists. They do dancier songs in one album, followed by a more pop one, experiment with R&B, pop-rock, just like most pop artists. Sash! has always remained within the dance genre, he was launched within the dance genre too. Yes they're commercial dance, but its dance.

Sash! was techno whilst SASHA was a pop and ballad singer

 

I loved his ballad called If You Believe

 

I also liked his ballad Wanna Be Your Lover

Sash wasnt techno :rolleyes: Europop and Eurotrance depending on the songs.
