Posted December 24, 200717 yr who are your heroes and villians of 2007 indie and alternative-ness (including anything twee, electronica and things you can sometimes dance/get bouncy to) THE GOOD http://www.dominorecordco.com/site/resources/images/domino/domino_rel_38.jpg THE BAD http://newsimg.bbc.co.uk/media/images/42352000/jpg/_42352961_twang2_203.jpg THE UGLY http://www.glasswerk.co.uk/img/news/the%20enemy2.jpg add to these headings below if you want HEROES: VILLIANS:
December 26, 200717 yr Heroes - Gallows, The Horrors, Radiohead, Interpol, Dinosaur Jr (an utterly triumphant return to the fray from J, Lou and Murph.... ) Villains - Razorlight, the NME (for their utterly detestable stitch-up of Morrissey, and just for generally being complete sh!tehawks...)
December 31, 200717 yr Author Villains - Razorlight, the NME (for their utterly detestable stitch-up of Morrissey, and just for generally being complete sh!tehawks...) well the bordom that is Razorlightm like totally!!! but i think the NME is alright (if you keep that thought in the back of your mind that they might over-hype things and in a few years your left with a lot of $h!t) much better than Q magazine which seems to be aimed at clueless American stadium - arena - rock - fans (yeah you - gotta - put - all - those - hypens - in - there - q!!!!????)
January 2, 200817 yr On the other hand I'd cite Razorlight as heroes in 2007 for barely doing anything - let's hope they keep it that way. Heroes - Warp Records, Last.fm, Connect Festival organisers Villains - The NME, T in the Park organisers
January 3, 200817 yr Heroes = CSS  Villains = Hoosiers - nothing more than McFly with a veneer of "credible band" so Radio 1 will play them. Why is the lead singer's face so annoying as well?
January 3, 200817 yr Heroes- Laura Marring  Villains- Razorlight, The Kooks, Arctic Monkeys.. Etc.
January 3, 200817 yr Pst, her name is Laura Marling. She is quite lovely though. <3 Ghosts is set to spend quite a few weeks as my #1.
January 6, 200817 yr Author Villains = Hoosiers - nothing more than McFly with a veneer of "credible band" so Radio 1 will play them. Why is the lead singer's face so annoying as well? Its like a bad Ben Stiller film, over and over again  but at least we hope that the guilty pleasures pop crazy will have f***ed off my 2009
