Big hits from Fergie and Mark Ronson are also present.
December 29, 200717 yr Candyman is well overated Dave :( And ugh at 50 Cent. But love out to GA/Fergie + Garbage and a bit of Imogen Heap too. I don't think I'veh eard that one by her though. :(
December 30, 200717 yr Author 20 DJ Bobo - Vampires Are Alive http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/EUROVISCD.JPG CHART RUN: 8-5-7-12-7-6-13-6-5-15-22-32 CHART POINTS: 626 PEAK: 5 CERTIFIED: This song flopped mightily in Finland in May. :( Tipped by many to win, this corker from DJ Bobo failed to qualify from the semi-final and many used this as a prime example of the eastern bloc voting and the problems it has caused. Nevertheless, it made a massive impact on my chart, peaking at #5 twice and spending seven weeks in the top ten overall. You're not completely unloved Bobo. 19 Leona Lewis - A Moment Like This http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/PRERELCDLEO.JPG CHART RUN: 2-1-1-4-8-8-10-15-17-17-24-25-24-28-40 CHART POINTS: 628 (95 in 2006; totalling 723) PEAK: 1 CERTIFIED: This was the first #1 of 2007 for me, and is a really great song. Entering in the final week of 2006, 'A Moment Like This' went on to record 15 weeks in my chart and two of those at #1. For a while it looked as though 2007 would be opening and closing with Lewis at #1, but 'Bleeding Love' was knocked off the top spot in early December. That is still to chart. :funky:
December 30, 200717 yr What the hell DJ Bobo LOL  You are no longer aloud to mention Sheilas at me anymore  Although I also liked DJ Bobo :kink: and was disgusted when it didnt get through :smoke:
December 30, 200717 yr Why are 'Change' and various Rihanna songs so low? :o Brilliant apart from that though obvs.
December 30, 200717 yr Author 18 Mark Ronson; Amy Winehouse - Valerie http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/PRERELCDRONNIE.JPG CHART RUN: 5-4-14-19-21-17-2-5-6-8-17-21-23-16-15 CHART POINTS: 686 PEAK: 2 CERTIFIED: This remake is actually amazing. So much better than the Zutons' version and immensely catchy. It's still charting for me atm and has peaked at #2. Totally deserved and Mark Ronson's second high song in my chart following the Lily Allen collaboration, 'Oh My God'. 17 Marija Serifovic - Molitva http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/EUROVISCD.JPG CHART RUN: 18-26-24-24-22-10-6-4-3-1-3-14-14-16-18-29-36 CHART POINTS: 715 PEAK: 1 CERTIFIED: Yet more Eurovision stuff here, and at #17 is the winning song from Serbia. A beautiful song that completely deserved to win even if it was sung by an incredibly strange looking woman. How people can completely blame bloc voting on this winning is beyond me, this would've done well regardless of the country it came from. It did pretty well on my chart too, only hitting #1 following the victory however.
December 30, 200717 yr Author Why are 'Change' and various Rihanna songs so low? :o Brilliant apart from that though obvs. 'Change' has only been charting for a few weeks and I'm not that keen anyway Slickers. :( Rihanna well hmm... 'Umbrella' never really got to me like it seemed to everyone else. :(
December 30, 200717 yr 'Molitva' is actually the third highest ESC 07 song Boyan. :o oh so Scooch are next and the other one who is it :o :???:
December 30, 200717 yr Author 16 Spice Girls - Headlines (Friendship Never Ends) http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/PRERELCDSPICE.JPG CHART RUN: 2-3-2-2-2-4-8-10-13-16 CHART POINTS: 728 PEAK: 2 CERTIFIED: This song is so good, but failed to live up to the hype that surrounded it I'm afraid. :( Not even a Comic Relief label on the cover could prevent it from missing the top ten, which is a great shame as most thought it'd easily storm to the top spot. It did stay at #2 for four weeks on my chart though, with only Leona Lewis keeping it from topping the chart. Six weeks in the top five too means it was still a good year for the Spices on my chart. 15 Gwen Stefani - Four In The Morning http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/GWENPRECD.JPG CHART RUN: 4-11-12-10-5-4-1-2-2-8-17-22-33 CHART POINTS: 782 PEAK: 1 CERTIFIED: This cracking song from Gwen is her second of three songs in my top 100. It charted unnecessarily low on the real chart, and could've had a far longer run near the top of my chart were it not for the crazy amount of Eurovision songs drifting around at that time.
December 30, 200717 yr Author oh so Scooch are next and the other one who is it :o :???: Get your thinking cap on Boyan. :funky:
December 30, 200717 yr Author I cannot disclose yet Boyan. :o Unless you guess it and then I'll tell you if you're right or not. :P Cyndi doesn't count btw, so don't start thinking it's her.
December 30, 200717 yr well Cyndi is eather #1 or #2 :P wow I can't remeber the ESC song u've charted the most after Scooch  :(
