Posted May 19, 200619 yr Just saw this on Youtube, seems quite plausibe: Icelandic fictional character Silvia Night (a.k.a. SilvÃa Nótt) performs "Congratulations" at the Eurovision Semi-Finals in Greece 2006. As predicted, the audience did not realize this was a joke so Silvia was met with an unprecedented unanimous booing, before and after the performance. Her repeatedly telling the tech crew to "**** themselves" at rehearsals didn't help either, producing an enormous amount of negative publicity for her in Greece especially. It is being rumoured that the sound crew deliberately misadjusted her mic levels in retaliation for her hurtful comments. Poor bint, although after watching her rehearsel vid, it's hardly surprising if it's true
May 19, 200619 yr  I didn't notice any errors from her, the only error I really noticed all night was from Portugal when one of the girls sung out of place at the start of the song!

May 19, 200619 yr Author That Portugese mistake was timeless...how many times must they have performed that... The whole thing was painfully unprofessional
May 19, 200619 yr The Portugese mess-up was really unprofessional and surprising but you don't have to go back that many years (cannot remember exactly but around the turn of the millennium) when FYR Macedonia had that all-girl high school group singing. That has to be one of the most hilarious moments ever at the ESC even thou it most likely wasn't ment to be by them... Edited May 19, 200619 yr by JackJones

Out of tune, out of time... :puke2: Yet I think they got one more point than Nicki French! Who gave a great performance that year! The year injustice began!!!
