Interesting list of No.1's! Awful to see DJ Otzi with the biggest hit of the year though...the biggest shock is that Crazy In Love only reached No.6 in Germany :o

Crazy In Love didnt top many charts in Europe. In fact, Baby Boy was more successful in general.

For me it remains her best solo single along with Irreplaceable. CIL is overrated

Irreplaceable is her best for me followed by Beautiful Liar

I don't think Crazy in Love is that good but I did think it was seen as a classic worldwide

It did reach #1 in the US and Australia ;) So yeah, its a classic worldwide. It did great in Europe but hardly as massive as people think it was ;) Even in the US, Baby Boy and Irreplaceable are bigger hits.

Interesting to know :o I always felt that Baby Boy was weak, perhaps because it was released only a few months after the far superior Breathe by Sean and Blu Cantrell...

When I saw Beyonce live last year I thought it was the weakest track in her set -_-

I loved Baby Boy and Breathe too from Sean Paul and Blu Cantrell.

Crazy In Love was also very good. I think Beyonce's last album was not that strong as the Crazy In Love era.

I loved that era. Late Summer 2003 cemented my love for R&B. There were those 2 you mentioned, "Baby Boy" by Big Brovaz, "Where Is The Love" by BEP, "In Love" by Lisa Maffia, "Never Leave You" by Lumidee, "Cant Hold Us Down" by Xtina, "Get Busy" by Sean Paul, "Get It While Its Hot" by Nodesha, "Superstar" by Jamelia, "Snake" by R Kelly, etc...
