Hey, Valerie is one of my faveourite songs, and I was just wondering in the song Amy says: [["Well sometimes I go out by myself, and I look across the water.'']] this is repeated once more in the song, though the second time it sounds awfully like Amy says: [["Well sometimes I go out by myself, and I look across the border.'']] It's been bugging me, because border also makes sense in that format, looking accross the border (border line, different place) just like looking accross the ''water''[sea] :/ have a listen, tell me what you think. [ignoring that the lyrics pages say otherwise]

I think its just how she sings it. I pretty sure she sings "Water" and The Zutons definitely did. With her voice being incredibly powerful sometimes her accent is unclear. It can sound like 'Boarder' but I'm pretty sure it isn't.
