50. McFly- The Heart Never Lies

UK Chart Run:3-10-22-34-57

Ahhh, McFly. Probably one of the most annoying bands ever, and un-needing of a greatest hits. Demanding or craving credibility for their previous work. Have some of the worst chart runs for top 5 or 10 songs, including the highest fall from number one, falling to 20 the following week. However, The Heart Never Lies is probably McFly’s best single, and if they continue in this fashion for their next studio album they could get that credibility they so desire, also the video helped me to like it lol. However this is the only time they will appear in my 2007 year end chart so toddles to McFly.

49. Dannii Minogue Vs Jason Nevins- Touch Me Like That

UK Chart Run: 48

So Dannii’s floptastic return to the UK chart is here one place lower than her UK peak of 48, ouch. However I love this song and it’s beats lol, something I have been singing along to since I found it, scaring my uni flatmates at the same time, even more of a reason to love it I think.

48. Stephanie McIntosh- Mistake

UK Chart Run: 47

Another song here that peaks in my year end chart one place lower than its one week on the UK Chart. Former neighbours star Stephanie McIntosh launched her self here in July 2007, a year after anyone with the internet could have learned her album had been released in Australia. Yes she can’t sing live for peanuts, but her album Tightrope is amazing, Mistake isn’t the best song ever but is still a good pop song, and the first of 3 Steph songs in my countdown.

47. Melanie C- Carolyna

UK Chart Run: 49

Mel returned to the UK charts in 2007, with top 25 smash I Want Candy. However not many people wanted Carolyna and it peaked at 49. Humm had I put this at 49 in my chart everything else would have matched its peak on the UK Chart lol. Anyway Carolyna is a beautiful song which was shamefully ignored by the British public. Mel C is back with the Spice Girls now touring the UK, they won’t feature in my chart but Mel will be back again.

46. Cascada- Miracle

UK:57-x-x-x-8-11-15-24-27-36-42-54-49-57-71

Gah don’t eat me. The first of 2 Cascada songs in the chart. The first is from debut album Every Time We Chart. Yes it’s generic, yes it is similar to their previous singles, but love the beat and it is great to dance to. However this is here for the after dark remix, the ballad version of this song showing off Natalie’s beautiful vocals.
