Posted December 30, 200717 yr CAN I JUST SAY funniest thing ever? Absolute hilarity. Noel Fielding & Russell Brand seem to excel when around each other and even Wossy had his fair few comedy moments too [mainly at Heather Mills' expense but hey what's new? ]. Just ashame the Goth Detectives didn't win for a second time as they clearly make the show. :cheer:
December 30, 200717 yr Was this on tonight?!?!?! :o Oh no i missed if so :( I loved last years it was excellent.
December 30, 200717 yr Author Yes tonight! I missed the first half hour due to a severe lack of promo / me not watching C4 as much as I should. Didn'tt quite eclipse last years amazing comedic effort but it still gave me lots of J-K-Z.
December 30, 200717 yr Was this on tonight?!?!?! :o Oh no i missed if so :( I loved last years it was excellent. Yeah it was on from 9 til 11 but I started watching it on C4+1 I love the Big Fat Quiz of the Year, Russell Brand and Noel Fielding are really funny.
December 30, 200717 yr I got well bored of Noel and Russell :( THEY TRY TOO HARD TO BE JOKES NOW :o:(. But I will carress Noel's hair - Yummmmy. I'm such a sucker for Rob and David though ahahah absolute legends. I'm clearly out of touch with my goth hating and old man loving but naymind hah.
December 30, 200717 yr Not as good as last year imo but still very good. ^_^ I miss that guy from The IT Crowd. :( He was funny, Rob Brydon, (or at least I think it was him) is not.
December 30, 200717 yr Author He was funny, Rob Brydon, (or at least I think it was him) is not. Haa but the man is a ledge. He pulls off the whole pathetic act really, really well. Having to resort to cheap impressions to get acceptance from the crowd. What a guy
December 30, 200717 yr OMG BEST bit yeah, was well obviously David saying his opinion on the Cutty Sark ahahaha, I want him NOWWW!
December 31, 200717 yr "wasnt it the funniest thing ever"?.... well NO! lol.. far from it! but it was entertaining, funny, but rather sameish, nothing really original and feilding/brand were rather lame at times, like 2 unfunny youths who had just had a drink of cider...lol. i like them, but they were rather stretched for laughs.
December 31, 200717 yr I agree the "Goth Detectives" act was unfunny compared to last year, whilst what was the point of having Lily Allen as a guest, she contributed little, and then was offensively vile towards Radiohead's Thom Yorke (obviously she is jealous of real musical talent, as opposed to the loutish media-friendly bull$h!te she produces).
December 31, 200717 yr ^ What did she say about him? :o I couldn't be bothered to pay much attention to it much, it was quite dull rly hah.
December 31, 200717 yr ^ What did she say about him? :o I couldn't be bothered to pay much attention to it much, it was quite dull rly hah. "Not the music", then she went on a rant about how their music is "sh!t" and they are full of themselves, and were setting a bad precedent getting consumers to pay what they wanted for it, before Jimmy Carr pointed out that they've already made more money out of In Rainbows being released via the internet, than from their previous album. Mind you she was in a grumpy mood after the previous question where all the comedians were telling jokes about her friend Heather Mills. But then famously Lily Allen once had on her MySpace page "Mark Chapman killed the wrong Beatle..."
December 31, 200717 yr Not as funny as last year, last year it was hillarious, but was still good last night. The Heather Milles jokes though where HILLARIOUS.
December 31, 200717 yr I thought it was funny, I like people that have a laugh with a quiz and don't just want to win! Erm Lily I have to admit I have gone off her a little, I thought she was out line with what she said about Radiohead. Can't believe she was sticking up for Heather Mills either, stupid girl!!
January 1, 200817 yr I love big fat quiz of the year, I still watch last years that I ripped off youtube  glad they had russel and noel back this year, I think they're really funny :D
