Posted December 31, 200717 yr Despite it being download-only, I can still see it going top 10. It is very catchy, and having the Girls wearing school uniforms in the video won't hurt sales, either...! :) http://popdirt.com/modules.php?name=News&a...e&sid=66026
December 31, 200717 yr Everyone hopes it doesn't go top 75 to dent there top 10 record. If it gets top 40 then i think word of mouth will spread it and it might have a very small chance of going top 10
December 31, 200717 yr Hopefully top 10, but if it doesn't reach the top 10 I'm sure the fans will say "Oh it doesn't count because it wasn't a single" just like the Westlife fans did about their song that got to #62 on downloads.
December 31, 200717 yr Absolutely terrible song. So awful.! so is that an Absolutely terrible song for an Absolutely terrible movie then  actually they were the best thing in the movie and the only reason for not walking out after 10 mins to go and see enchanted again!!!

In this case, you can say that Leona Lewis have already broken her run of consecutive top10 hits, with some songs from her album charting on download only at the time of the release. Same for Arctic Monkeys, and few other acts. But no, it doesn't count like a single, since being a track only available to download off an album.
December 31, 200717 yr I think it will do pretty well. It's had a lot of play on the music channels. Even if it doesn't go Top Ten, I wont count it as a proper single anyway!
January 1, 200817 yr It should chart high :P I love it :P But if it didnt, its doesnt mean anything, they aint releasing it LOL
January 1, 200817 yr as its only download only - it wont matter too much - i hope it does well though
January 1, 200817 yr It may not matter much to their fans as they know its download-only but it will still there on their record. ;) But actually now that I've thought about it I don't really mind. They still have the record for a girl group which is going to take some beating. :D
January 1, 200817 yr It's not a physical release from Girls Aloud and it's only charting because of the movie. I'll doubt it will count for thier records.

And if it went to number One? ~ I wouldn't mind seeing the movie, but the original is a gem, so a lot to live up to! ~ As for hit potential, well there's another recent big movie song which is only an album track and I assume downloadable which I had thought the fan base would have seen it reach the top 20  but no. So top 30 then? <_< no. Top 40? :( no! Top 75? NO! Top 200? I don't know  So what do I know about songs not destined as singles reaching the singles (or should that be songs) chart. Not a lot it seems  Still I think it's a lovely tune and that's what counts :D The song - Lyra.
January 1, 200817 yr Well with the St. Trinians song now #47 in the Itunes chart. It should make the top 75
