Unfortunately youtube has taken most of them down, but its cool to see which videos used to be played on the once great MTV Europe.

For example:

Solid Harmonie - To Love Once Again

Ahhh! back to the early & mid 90s - when MTV was great and really worth watching.

Unlike the rubbish it is today.

It also had great VJs - who remembers:

Marijan Van De Vlught

Pip Dann

Ray Cokes - (with Most Wanted)

Lisa I'anson - (with Hitlist UK)

Simone Angel - ( the great Party Zone)

Paul King - (with MTV's Greatest Hits)

Eden - (with European Top 40)

Kristiane Backer

Rebecca De Ruvo

I used to drool over Simone Angel

And it wasn't just the VJs - the music was damn good as well. Unlike today, they also used to play music from all over Europe.

Remember the likes of:

2 Unlimited - Tribal Dance

U96 - Love Religion

Ace Of Base - All That She Wants

Culture Beat - Mr. Vain

Haddaway - What Is Love

Jam & Spoon - Right In The Night

Scooter - Friends

Rammstein - Sonne

Mr. President - Coco Jamboo

Marusha - Somewhere Over The Rainbow

Prince Ital Joe - United

H-Blockx - Move

Liquido - Narcotic

Kelly Family -An Angel

Hooverphonic - Mad About You

Get the idea!!

I'm more interested in late 90s and early 00s videos, as that's when I watched MTV Europe.

I loved the Vj's but forgot their names. The guy that presented The Fridge, the funny girl that did Euro Top20, and the black chick that did Dancefloor Chart. Actually there were Vj's for all programs, like Select, Top Selection, Bytesize, etc. And yeah they played loads of pop and dance acts from Europe, from Vengaboys, Aqua, Toy Box, S.O.A.P, Solid Harmonie, Five, Billie Piper, A*Teens, Ace Of Base, Jessica Folker, Robyn, All Saints, solo Spices, Modern Talking, Sash, etc...
