Robyn has been around for a while you know. :o Anyone remember 'Show Me Love', the top ten hit from 1998? :heehee: 2007 saw her return to our charts in spectacular style. The Sweedes do it best it seems. 'With Every Heartbeat' became a surprise but much welcomed chart topper in August whilst her self titled album and follow up single 'Handle Me' also made the top 20. She's now gearing up to assault the charts again with 'Be Mine!' and even provides backing vocals on Britney's latest hit 'Piece Of Me'.

6? Dreadful!

Go Robyn!

I thiiink ...

Well I knew it would finish top 10 but not top 5! :o It's one of their best songs but Robyn should be here imo. Girls Aloud have now released 17 singles since emerging from Popstars: The Rivals in 2002 and 'Call The Shots' is on course to become their biggest selling hit since 'Sound Of The Underground'.

In just two short months since returning to the music scene Leona Lewis has taken over the country notching up 7 weeks at the top with the spine tingling 'Bleeding Love' and having the fatest selling debut album in chart history with 'Spirit'. 'Bleeding Love' also went onto become the biggest selling single of 2007 and Leona's success looks set to continue well into the new year as she prepares to launch her CD in America. I found the song good but only good until her blinding performance on the X Factor where I have to say I think it is one of the greatest tracks this decade.

Those 2 came in the right places, my ideal for the next 3:

3. Nelly Furtado

2. Rihanna

1. Sugababes

Well this track I was sure would win but it didn't seem as popular as anticipated in the votes... I ask myself over and over why the hell the physical release of this song was canceled? A #10 smash selling almost 200,000 downloads since it entered the charts... It could've done a LOT more.

It helped Nelly's 'Loose' album reach its peak of #4 though 9 months after it was first released and rounded off a successful comeback for the singer finishing ahead of every other song in the 2007 World Chart.

So it was VERY tight with the Sugababes in the lead throughout but the last few votes saw the Babes being -10ed and Rihanna near the top... 74 people voted so you can see from the numbers just how popular the two tracks are. I love them both but imo the wrong one came out on top :P Both tracks were massive in their own right last year and are both still in the UK top 20 this week. Rihanna the #1 hit for 10 weeks last Summer was EVERYWHERE whilst the Babes proved they didn't need Mutya anymore when this track spent longer at the top than any of their previous tracks and is well on the way to becoming their biggest selling record.

Thanks to everyone who voted and took part and thanks for being patient with me doing the results

I'm surprised at how close it was between Rihanna and Sugababes!

The top 6 songs are all great  No One deserved a top 10 placing though.

Same top 3 as the Multichart YE, but a different order ^_^ Thanks for doing this Graham :D
