not actually heard their stuff but read good things about them and obv being called Noah and the Whale is so easy to remember as mnemocally you think of like Noah Baumbach's Squid and the Whale (wes anderson assocated director of upcomming margot and the wedding)

 

do you like Johnny Flynn & The Sussex Wit's The Box. thats a good record thats also a bit folky

This is a flipping brilliant song. I haven't heard much of Noah & The Whale if I'm being honest; but this song is one of the best songs of 2008 thus far.

This is a beautifully written song, I think its really great. My fav. song this year so far I think.
