Robbie Williams has been bombarding Dancing On Ice star Samantha Mumba with flowers - fuelling talk of a new romance.

 

They dated three years ago when they were both in LA but drifted apart due to work. They stayed friends and he has sent her two bouquets with private messages.

 

She insists it is just a "close friendship". An insider on the ITV1 show said: "They were beautiful bouquets and everybody wanted to know who they were from. Sam insisted there was nothing going on - but she was beaming from ear to ear."

 

Robbie, 33, wooed singer Sam, 25, with 50 red roses every day for a week in 2004 - as well as a £5,000 bracelet and long love letters.

 

Last week we revealed his fling With US actress Ayda Field, 28, had hit the rocks and that he has piled on weight after getting depressed over his troubled love life.
