i think a good solid pop song,she showed how well she can do singing relight my fire with take that,i think bev should do a duet for her first single of the next album a duet with some one like that would really boost her again i think

Well definitely NOT a duet to lead the next album! -_- Something like a continuation of the Affy sound. Something soulful and poppy, catchy and memorable. And no live sounds! :lol:

a duet would get her back into the top 10 which she really needs next time,she hasnt released a duet so it would be a first and it could well pay off

Yeah a duet would be the best way to kick off the album, someone high profile. Then release something like CAYA or KTFB.

I don't at all. -_- Beverley's got something to prove this time around, which is that she's not just a boring soul star with a voice but no sex appeal, singing to women in their 40s. Duetting will just look like a desperate attempt at re-gaining popularity. Have one on the album by all means, but not for lead single.

she has nothing to prove but im sure she wants success and im sure the record company will want sales and successfull singles so a duet to kick it off would the set the wheel in motion for a follow up to do well,

I would have expected her record label to have dropped her by now because she hasn't had any major success with any of her albums....which is a shame really because her latest album was amazing! :(

I doubt she'll be dropped. She's been around since like 1995 but never really made it big so why would they drop her now? :lol:

 

She's still a pretty popular artist though despite the low sales. Sales don't mean everything remember. ^_^

i think she may have a better chance at doing well with the next album because after a constant chain of brittish 'soul' singers being rather successful (plus, inevitably more to come) it would be inspiring to see someone who isn't trying to be like amy winehouse *cough*duffy*cough*

 

plus i don't think just the two of us helped anyone who perfromed in it ,name one of the pro singers that has had any moderate sucess apart from Beverly
