It has been doing since its release. What people forget about UAN is that people have been downloading it in dribs and drabs since Take That Comes To Town (early December 2008). If those people had just held on ... it could possibly have got into the top 10 with ease. I still think it will at some point get into the top 10 (I'm hoping TT will be on DOI). If it doesn't ... I still think it'll be in the top 75 for longer than Greatest Day.

Edit - I take back the top 10 bit - it has already started a steady decline on iTunes ... if it had any chance of hanging around it had to at least hold its position.

ya upp all night helped album sales which is great,i thought up all night would be lower in todays midweeks than number 17,with the comic relief performance it could well stay top 15 come sunday and singles sales are high overall so it will sell quite well,it wont be the huge hit we hoped but in sales terms it will well enough and it has helped increase album sales which is an added bonus.....

Oh I'm over UAN now. It flopped but its not the end of the world. As long as they resist the temptation to release another single from the album I'll be happy.

Well, lets hope that the X-Factor and Saturdays of 2015 will make a charity song from UAN , which will give it the glory it deserves, everybody clapping and happy. :rolleyes:

up all night will go down very well on comic releif,the performance though may not have much of a sales effect on the single but couold have a bigger effect on album sales,still though i dont think up all night is a flop it hasnt done aswell as expected but it aint a flop,its sales are respectable and sales count for mor ethan chart positions,

up all night dropped 5 places to number 24 in ireland this week,so far #19 has been its peak...i suppose its not bad considering id wait for life only made number 32 here

Wekk 6 and Up All Night drops 3 places to number 17,although in the chart thread its mentioned how it has started to climb on i tunes today so lets hope it can hold top 20 or higher next week,im wondering could the garden chart in the top 100 this week??

Well, good for UAN for keeping Top 20. If they would have promote it this week it would have been good - but as far as i know that was , so no chance that next week it will still be in top 20.

 

Also the album is still strong. Very good!

 

I am pretty sure, somewhere in top 100 is also The Garden.

Although it'll be nice for them to have (possibly) four songs in the top 75 this weekend ... it isn't really good long-term for The Garden as it means if it is officially released ... it'll never make the top 30 even. Most of its sales will already have happened. Maybe they'll just let it go on being downloaded for those who want it ... without an official release ... now that I think would be the best idea.

 

Did you see the top 200 records of the decade Pete? Take That are in there with four! Greatest Day has sold 292,000!!!!!!! I never, ever thought it had sold that many. By the end of the year it could possibly have overtaken Shine.

no i didnt see the show,great to see them on it,greatest day will sell another but but it will never over take shine as shine still often appears in the top 200 i think shine has sold over 400,000 now

 

i can see the garden charting this week and then it will completly drop out of the charts again as its not getting radio play so this is purely on the back of comic relief mainly,its hard to know id like to believe the single at worst will go top 20 but if it continues to release its hard to know,but if it keeps getting downloaded for a long period of time it will drum up some very decent sales for a 3rd single

The album should definitely be inside the top 10 again this Sunday. Its at number 5 midweek so if it does drop I can't see it dropping more than five places.
