This week irish update

Up all night down 5 to #19 (#14 peak)

The Circus up 4 to number 8 ( #1 peak)

Ultimate collection non mover at #31 (#12 peak) 113 weeks on the chart

Beautiful World has left the top 100 this week

The Garden has slipped on German and Swiss iTunes now. Down to 25 on Germany and down to 55 on Swiss.

However ... in the Danish iTunes The Garden is a new entry at 19 and Patience has re-entered the iTunes chart at 28. They sang both on the Danish X-Factor.

Really pleased for Patience ... still my favourite song since the comeback!

Good to see progress in some charts which is always great to see, niceto see patience gaining more sales its a great song just not as great as rule the world

Seeing that PSB doing the same with their first single of the album, U2 going very quick away, the same for Oasis (did they were more than 3 weeks in charts with each of their last two singles), it attest me more and more that the charts have more to do with the lenght of the clothes and the amount of bare skin as with the quality and music ....

I don't expect nothing good for Depeche Mode in UK charts anymore for example  .

Ya there is a trend spme of the well established acts are seeing their singles enter high and plummet while others are just flopping and when we look at the big picture take that are doing very well on the singles front overall which is great.

Im a tiny bit disappointed that the circus dropped 7 places this week to number 12 as i was hoping it would stay top 10 again this week.

Up all night is number 31 in the midweeks just a 3 place drop however a little disappointing is the circus is number 20 down 8

rule the world was number 81 last sunday i just saw the top 100 and th egarden isnt there as expected

As at 26th March 2009 Take That's sales were as follows (just for 2009)

Greatest Day - 90255 (since then it is up to 94940)

Up All Night - 75275

RTW - 44975 (brilliant sales for a song that has been out almost two years)

So as bad as everyone thinks Up All Night has done ... it still managed to beat the lead single off the U2 album - Get on your boots which has sold 46270 in the same period!

Ha, way to go UAN!!! :cheer: (ok, not what i dreamed, but put it in the perspective and being realistic  it is not bad at all. Still gutted they realeased Greatest day as the first single  ).

I think Greatest Day will go on to outsell Shine before the year is out. There are going to be loads of occasions coming up where I'm sure it'll be used ... the FA Cup Final for a start. I must admit I was shocked to see it has now sold if not 300,000 then not far off it ... and quite quietly.

As much as greatest day disappointed me as a single it has done very well and it does have a strong chance of outselling shine, up all night has done well and i was saying this a while back when peopple were deeming it a flop as by the time it stops selling it will outsell songs that have gone number 1(not by take that themselves) rule the world is doing brilliant with sales of almost 45,000 again this year it shows the wide appeal the song has had has it has never left the top 100 since its release.

When we look at up all night a 2nd single comparing to the big comeback lead single by u2 it shows take that are holding up very well indeed and not to mention how much take that sold in the first week with circus comparing to new line on the horizon,as fans we certainly have nothing to complain about or be worried about,,up all night will also have quite a decent chart run which is nice also

TT are the uk's biggest selling band since 2006! They sold OVER 4 million albums (only albums) since 2006 2.5m from bw and 1.5m from the circus (which will end up with 2m i guess).

there's no U2 coming even close to them (or coldplay though i love coldplay)

worldwide they sold 7 million albums since their comeback: 1.5m for never forget, 3.5m for bw, 2m for the circus! Just compare this to other artists who doesn't sell in either europe or the us..
