Had the Best Live Act category still been included in the Brits ... I've no doubt that, had it have dropped from number 1 in the next few weeks, it would rapidly have shot back there! Sadly ... The Brits don't know their arse from their elbow. Apparently ... Muse's label are peed off at the dropping of the category too ... it looks like they'll only have the one nomination now ... which is one more nomination than Take That though!

Norma

If i were Take That i would announce exact for the brit day a gig

I can see Howard and Gary at least choosing to take their kids on holiday (the Brits is held during half-term) they'd have the perfect excuse for not turning up without it looking like a snub. Having said that ... I'm glad they're not nominated ... as we know they wouldn't have won anything anyway. Better to have no win from no nomination than a couple of nominations and then embarrassingly have no wins! Can you believe JLS are in with a nomination for Best British Group.

Norma

I can see Gary singing with Robbie Back for good. I have a feeling it will happen.

But, if all TT comes to the Brits this year, i don't want to hear about them anymore! :arrr: And i mean it!!! They will have more to win if they will be a no-show! Better go on LA and make a new recording as eating the rests from the BRits

I won't vote on that stupid 30 years either. How can they put a cover above a real fantastic moment like Patience was?

JLS as best group? From a country who gave nothing to Depeche Mode and other TRUE bands, this nomination is a slap on face. I wonder how Cheryl and her album were not nominated thought. Or Robbie's album.

I can see Gary singing with Robbie Back for good. I have a feeling it will happen.

If that happens ... I'd go off Take That for good too! It'd save me loads of money in the future too! Gary was truly, truly pissed off a couple of years back and as they have no nominations ... I doubt they'll show up (I'm not counting that stupid mickey-mouse category). If the Brits are thinking that TT fans and Rob fans will join forces to ensure they appear on stage together ... boy have they figured us out wrong. If I vote for anything in that category it'll be either Michael Jackson (and Jarvis) or Girls Aloud!

I really can't see a TT/Robbie collaboration for The Brits. I just don't see why they would bother do it after such a snub. The only reason that I could see them turning up would be if they had a record/single to promote. Part of me is really insulted that they didn't receive a nomination for The Circus (and of course the whole axing of the Best Live Act debacle) but part of me is glad because I'm pretty sure that they would have no chance of winning anyway unless it was down to a public vote. I agree with Norma, I think that it's better to not be nominated than to lose out like Coldplay and leona Lewis did in recent years.

The only good thing about the Brits in recent years has been when TT have performed on it. Wouldn't bother myself watching it otherwise!

I agree on everything you've said. And as far as performing together ... it just won't happen. Rob has even said in the past ... if it were to happen at some point ... no way could they perform anything that they'd done from the past.

The Brits have shown that they truly despise Take That by dropping the category they just knew Take That would (deserverdly) win. I don't care about them not being nominated in Best British Group or even Best Album ... but to take away the best live act category (when everyone knows how important winning that one is to them) is just mean.

If the lads do turn up at the bash ... I hope they drink the bar dry!

I never take the brits too seriously as they have pissed me so muh for so many years. It is obvious they dont like take that but more fool them as we all know take that are one of britains biggest and best bands around at the moment and have being so since their return. If the academy are too snobby to acknowledge that, its more shame on them. One of the many things thrown at the music industry is their isnt enough people/bands writing and producing their own stuff, and i use take that as just one exampe as band who are multi talented but are ingnored.

For a band who can shift millions of singles, millions of albums and do amazing live shows and this year in particular where their tour was the most talked about concert and biggest selling music dvd ever they get completly ignored, now if the brit academy cant recognise that what does that say about them is the way i think. It refelcts terribly on them and thats why the brit awards are no longer important as they once were and its why their ratings are droppping each year.

If the lads show up fair play to them, they shoud show up and get everything they can for free and have a good night out because chances are half the ones who will win the awards wont be heard of in 3 years time which happens quite alot of the artists the brit academy award.
