The circus dvd returns to the top 10 dvd chart at number 5 this week

 

The Circus drops 4 places to number 78

Beautiful world drops 11 places to number 80

 

Maybe all this Mark nonsense will have enraged fans rounding up their Take That CDs and throwing them on a bonfire! :lol:

 

I'm still thinking of limericks! Biggie has stolen the two words I was going to use for Howard's!

If anything the mark stuff may drum up sosme more sales, the dvd for exaample climbing so well in ireland this week out of nowwhere unless people were grabbing it during the week as mothers day presents, next week could see the album doing better as alot of people will bebuying mothers day presents this weekend.

I think at the moment ... a Take That product of any kind would be the most unwelcome of presents ... on Mother's Day especially!

I would disagree on the basis of my own girlfriend and my sisters opinion, they are both big fans and say they aint shocked it was like they knew already and said if the music if good they dont mind basically. The sun is supporting mark which is strange they are writing the articles in the nicest way possible, if it was gary i bet they would absolutly disgrace him altogether.

That's what I thought. I honestly can't see Gary ever cheating though. I think his parents had such a fantastic relationship and were such good role models that he wants what they had. I do think that largely ... if your parents set a good example of a solid marriage ... then you're likely to follow. This is why I admire Jason for not getting involved ... I don't think he could ever commit and so why make a mockery of the word 'marriage'.

 

Back to the matter in hand ... I'm really not surprised by Mark's cheating. I still think, at heart, that he's a fairly decent bloke ... but just a decent bloke who just happens to be unable to be faithful. I don't think it matters how many chances Emma gives him ... he can't be trusted. I feel so sorry for her ... she looked really drained in the picture I saw of her today ... in comparison to the radiant girl we saw in October.

I agree about Emma i feel sorry for her aswell, plus she has kept out of the limelight the whole time she has been with mark and this is just gonna throw her in the deep end, if i was her i have to say i wouldnt take him back as to me it would be impossible to trust them again, especially in the job he is in.

I can't believe that TTO is still down! If they keep it down for too long people won't bother going back to it :rolleyes:. I'm sure a few of the one night stands will come out of the woodwork now so it could be in the papers for a few weeks to come. I actually wouldn't be surprised if the album etc go up a few places just because Mark and TT have been in the papers regardless of what it's about.

Actually Gordon Smart is friend with Gary, that way is not so bad now with Mark.

In that regard then it worlked out well as the sun when it turns on someone really does turn on them so mark is extremely lucky in that way. If anything though and i know this may sound shallow but i can see Gary doing everything he can to make sure the next album is astounding as he will only to aware that thiis story could damage the clean image of take that so he will know they need killer material to maiintain the huge wave of success they are having.

As exactly Gary's songs were disspointing for me on the Cicrus, i hope he packs all his songwritting creativity this time. Also the other TT members.

I disagree there as personnely the circus is by far their strongest studio album, i love the album and for me its going to be very hard to beat.

Well, it was nonetheless their best album. But no song from Gary was as strong as Rule the world or Reach out (i am that small fraction of TT fans who doesn't like Patience). His best song on The Circus was She said. The rest of his songs didn't make the cut in my top 20 of TT songs :unsure: . Sometimes i like You and sometimes i like Greatest Day. But not anytime....

 

Beautiful world was to samney for me in sound (that is the problem for example with the new Boyzone album, are they also have as producer John Shanks?), apart from Shine and Patience. Luckily i bought the extended version with the brilliant We all fall down and Rule the world. The Circus shows more versatility, more courage in changing styles, more instruments, more courage in production. As that comes more from Mark, Jason and Howard songs (apart from the boring What is love), i hope that Mark will get the chance to put his imput on the new album.

Well the only songs I can, hand on heart, say I like from The Circus (studio album) are The Circus, Said It All, Up All Night and Hold Up A Light. Of course since seeing the whole thing in concert I've gone on to like other songs ... but in the end ... it really isn't as good a studio album as Beautiful World. I think Gary took his hands off the reins for too long with The Circus.

I agree the circus had no rule the world but that song is almost inbeatable for me, again i take the album from a different point of view, one of take thats or gary;s main critisims from before was all the songs were written by gary so i look beyond that now, as that was something they didnt want happening this time, so regradless of how much gary doesn or doesnt write i have started to look beyond that since they re formed.

Just like last week there is no Take That album in the top 75 this week.

The dvd chart hasn't been updated yet ... its still showing last week's positions. I expect them to still be in the top 10 though.

Good news on the music dvd chart ... Take That has once again gone up a place ... one of only two dvd's to actually go up. The others either drop or are static. I can see this being the last week that Michael's dvd is number 1 as well.
