Pretty good viewing album-wise! We knew the single would drop - although I must admit I did think it would be 20 at worst!!!

The Circus is number 11 this week but had the michael jackson tragedy not happened they would to in the running for top 5 as jackson has 6 album in the top 10 already and probably 7 by sunday. In the singles chart saaid it all will be lucky to stay top 40 but again michael jackson has occupied quite alot of spaces and without it they would still hold top 30 and possibly top 25.

Said it all is number 37 down 15 places this week and without the michael jackson stuff it would have been number 26 and from the sales we have seen so far it sold at least 10,000 this week which brings it very near to 65,000 now.

The circus is down 7 places to number 11 and again would be number 6 without the michael jackson stuff

Pretty pleased with TT's performance this week. I think they can safely continue the well-earned break and just sit back until the DVD of the tour is released. Hopefully a De-Luxe Circus (I'm thinking the best thing is live versions from the concerts - especially Hold Up A Light and Said It All) to continue the flow. Then just wait until lat 2010 to release their next album.

ya im sure that is what will hapen and i hope we get as you predicted below as id be very happy with that, but could they gamble a 4th single???
... could they gamble a 4th single???

Definitely not! For one thing - the press would make mountains of the singles chart flop in comparison to Rob's debut single release from his long-awaited album - which is sure to hit number 1 and stay there for at least a couple of weeks no matter what.

robbie is not guaraenteed huge huge suucess, look at the recent trend in album sales, album sales have dropped hugely since he last released an album, yes it will probably do well and it will heavily depend on what the lead single is like.

I've only heard the rough cut / almost demo stage thing about a year ago (if its the same one). I've heard some say its brilliant though - but then again ... it is the Rob fans saying that. Probably the same as some insane Take That fans saying Greatest Day was brilliant when, at the time, it was decidedly average. Having said that, I doubt he'd release something that was a load of tosh after three years. And on the album - with Guy Chambers back on board together with Trevor Horn it is going to be at least 'big' as Rob himself said the album is - he does seem supremely confident (what's new there I ask  ). Still think he'll get to number 1 though and have initially great sales.

Do you know what as well ... I'll bet Gary invites him to take part in the Children In Need concert that he's arranging at the Albert Hall. Take That are performing themselves along with a load of others (I'm crossing my fingers that he has Beverley Knight involved). I bet if there is going to be a 'one-off' then this is the only possible time it could happen. If Rob is invited (which I'm certain he will be) and declines .... we'll know then that the new-found friendship is really just for show. If he does accept ... then I'll have to take my hat off to him (and them).

I seriously dounbt gary and robbie will ever be anything more than acuantance style friends, their is no way they could be genuine friends after what robbie did and if they are gary must be a very very very forgiving person, but time will tell.

Personnaly id love robbiel's comeback to be no more successfull than rudebox and i would love the album to flop if im being honest, id like robbie to get a dose of having the press crucify him again and again as it might take that cockt attitude out of him as this was always something i hated abiout robbie even when in take that.

As much as I doubt Rob's sincerity in this newly re-found friendship with Gary ... I don't entirely believe Gary either. I think they both can't stand each other. As Gary kept his feelings very much to himself over the years ... he doesn't have much to back-track on. Rob must think people are idiots if they can forget the 'Gary Barlow is a fat, useless w*n**r' and 'I was ALWAYS the talented one in the band' comments. He meant it then ... and inside ... I think he'd love to be saying it out loud now. His vitriolic comments he's made about Take That over the years have been one of the things that his fans love about him.

His album will be a mega-success though! His new album, in his own words is 'big, very big'. Who knows? I may even like one or two of the tunes that Guy Chambers has put together for him too!

The Circus climbs 6 places to number 65 in the Uk this week and its total sales now stand at 1,895,062, so just 105,000 to go to the 2 million mark. Just over 448,000 of those total sales are for 2009 where the album is the 8th best seller of the year so far.
