The Circus DVD is still no 1 in music DVD chart and no 7 in all DVD chart! :yahoo: http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/chart/dvds/

It should remain the number 1 music dvd for at least another week too - it'd be great if it could beat Beautiful World's stay at number 1 (10 weeks). The only other dvd I could see dislodging it was Susan Boyle's but hers has been a non-mover. Everything else in the top 10 is either a non-mover or has gone down so the only thing that can shift them will be a 'new entry' and I can't think of any coming up soon.

Great that they are still number 1 in the dvd chart, id love to know its total sales, god 2009 really was a fantastic year for them, well i suppose every year has being fantastic since they returned, and the albums and dvds will continue to sell even if in low numbers throughout 2010.

Beautiful world is back in the top 30 this week in the midweek, the circus is still top 40 but i dont know where the live album is yet.

If I'm not mistaken, then (if they're not already there) Take That only have to sell 865 copies of the studio The Circus album to officially be a 2 million seller!

Official sales for 2008 - 1,446,135

Official sales for 2009 (up to a day or so ago) - 553,000

I reckon that they've already passed the 2 mill marker though.

Great start to 2010 for Take That

The Live album drops 10 places to #17( 8 places higher than westlife which means take that have definitly charted higher on the year end chart)

The circus climbs 7 places to number 30 (which should mean it has hit the 2 million now)

I havnt seen the top 75's yet but i was surprised beautiful world wasnt top 40 as it was as high as #24 in the midweeks but its likely its #41.

Pete - the midweek's were wrong (I don't know where they got the figures from as I did wonder myself). Beautiful World is nowhere at all in the top 75 albums.

The greatest day is also back in the charts this week at number 96, singles sales are very high this week and at the lowest going from the sales information we have rule the world at the very lowest sold 6,000, and from sale si have seen greatest day would probablly have sold around 2,500 this week.

Fisrt set of midweek shows the circus is top 30 this week which is great news, i dont know where the live album is yet but im kinda expecting it to plummet as with all the sales on people will be buying the cd;s selling cheap and from what ive seen the live album hasnt been reduced, even companies online sich as play. com and cd wow are still selling it at e14.99 where loads of chart cds such as lady gaga and westlife are selling for 7 and 8 euro. Still though i cant complain as the live album has done so so well and better than i ever thought it would.

Lots of Take That albums in Ireland this week, here is this weeks Irish update

The Greatest Day Circus live down 13 places to #30 (#16 peak)

The Circus up 11 places to number 34 (#1peak)

Beautiful World up 39 places to #41 (#1 peak)

Ultimate Collection up 2 to #67 (#12 peak) although this is its 140th week on the chart.

The Circus live dvd drops from #1 to number 3 this week.

The Circus live dvd drops from #1 to number 3 this week.

There's a chance that the dvd will drop from number 1 next week - as there is a George Michael dvd out. So ... despite them thoroughly smashing all sales records ... it looks like chartwise - it won't match the 10 week run of the Beautiful World dvd.

IT would be great if it stayed at number 1 but the sales are whats important and as we know sales are no problem to them, Even if it drops from the UK number 1 it could easily return again.
