He did a performace of everthing changes when the show switched to itv and mentioned to the younger peoplpe in the audience that he used to be in a boyband

I'm glad you say he said 'used to be' it makes me hope that it is all in the past and nothing 'new' will come of it.

Well what a waste of time that was! It was rubbish - all that fuss over the 30 year anniversary. I only watched it because I though that Peter Kay would be good but the whole thing was just meh. I spent most of my time flicking to the other side. One born every minute (about a labour ward) was about a million times more exciting that that. I should have known better though - The Brits is always a disappointment. The only bit I enjoyed was Liam Gallagher being obnoxious!

I missed that bit! But I'll be watching for it on youtube!

So glad the lads had the self-respect to not show up at all tonight.

Yeah me too actually. It would have looked a bit sad if they did. The Liam bit is definately worth a watch - hilarious to see a fully grown man acting like a stroppy teenager

Im glad they didnt present robbie with the award that the one thing i would have hated, the brit awards have such a habit of jumping on the bandwagon of whats popular right now and ignoring what i call genuine talent, take that are just one example of that, the panel dont seem to have an open mind at all and if the truth was known i believe some brown envelope swapping takes place in some cases, i would love to know what crieria the panel have for chossing the winners, im sure its all down to their personnel choices half the time i wish they would move beyond that like for example i cannot stand george michael nor his music but i totally see and understand the man has huge talent so if i wa son a panel such as the brits i wouldnt use personnel bias towards what i think is a deserved winner. I mean JLS are a fine example tonight of winning and when they listed previous winners most are unheard of now eg A1 ,Kula shaker they should have a far more in depth way of picking winners and looking at the raw talent within the artists.

I think this could be the first week in a very long time that take that may not have an album within the top 75, i think the circus could rop out from last weeks number 69 due to the brits, im sure they will still have 2 and possibly 3 albums top 100 but not so confident about top 75 this week.

The Circus Live album is a surprise going up that much. Any idea why? I know they've been nominated for a Meteor Award in the Best International Live Act category (they won't win ... but it nice of the Irish to include them in their considerations) but it isn't on until tonight and not televised until Sunday.

I'm glad the DVD has risen ... I'm hoping it may stay top two in the UK this Sunday ... or at least not drop out of the top five.

I real;ly expected to be out of the top 75 albums chart this week but i was pleasantly surprised to see they still hold 2 posistions

Ultimate collection climbs 7 places to number 67

The circus drops 6 places to number 75

Im hoping the live album will manage another week top 100 also and the dvd to be top 3 at lowest.

I thought it may have held top 3 this week but Number 4 is still very respectable indeed. Id love to know total sales now for the dvd, live album, the circus, beautiful world and the ultimate collection.

Number one was a new entry by Blur. I should imagine Michael Jackson's 'This Is It' will be a new entry at number one next week. I think The Circus probably has one more week inside the top ten left ... maybe two and then it should disappear.

Ya it will probbably trail off very quickly die to its massive sales, its a bit like the circus album it wont spend massive amounts of weeks on the top 75 as it sold so huge so quickly.

Disapointing week for Take That in Ireland this week especially in the DVD chart

Beautiful World up 4 places to number 49

The Circus drops 16 places to number 82

Ultimate collection and the live album drop out of the top 100

The dvd drops out of the top 10 this week from number 4 last week, we only get to see the top 10 dvd chart so we dont know the positions after that.

I'd be surprised if the DVD was still in the top ten in the UK this Sunday. Its had a great run though and I'd say its total sales so far are around three quarters of a million.

I just found it weird staying top 4 since its release then just drop out, i would have expected maybe number 8 or 9 then drop out, but as you say it has sold so well so it was bound to drop.

It'd be strange if it drops out altogether ... as its last top ten position will have been the same as it was in Ireland. Spooky!

I'm enjoying watching / listening to Take That stuff again lately. I'm getting some listening in so I can remember what they were like while they were decent (before a reunion I mean) as I shall certainly NOT buy anything that Rob is associated with.

Im glad you are enjoying them again music wise and i wouldnt worry about the re union business as i cant see alot coming of it, and if it does we will have to wait and see how it all works out.

I'm hoping Rob does rejoin ... as TT haven proven to be a very expensive past-time for me. Once he has joined them ... even for one song ... I'll no longer be interested. I'll continue to post in here for a laugh but I certainly won't want anything to do with them anymore ... even after he's gone.

When they first announced the reunion tour (2006) I really couldn't be arsed as I wasn't fond of them the first time (Robbie being the most off-putting factor). But after I'd got dragged along to see them ... and thoroughly enjoyed myself in the process ... and learned that when the songs were sung with just the four on board ... they were far better than the first time ... I got into them. Part of the 'magic' for me was the 'supporting the underdog' thing ... as everyone had said that they would be lucky to sell a few hundred tickets if Rob wasn't with them. Well he wasn't ... and they proved that Take That was more than just Robbie Williams. Even after the success of Patience and Shine people were thinking it wouldn't last ... and the stronger they got without Rob the more satisfying it was to be a fan. Once he is back in the fold though ... that magic has gone for me ... and for a lot of fans who, like me, can't stand Robbie Williams. I simply cannot stand his voice ... it grates on me. As a song-writer ... he isn't even original ... he uses snippets of other peoples music ... and his lyrics are sh/te. OK ... Take That's lyrics are hardly up there with the best ... but at least they are not as pretentious as Rob's.

Anyway ... I know I'll be a richer person when Take That become Five!
