Amelle Berrabah has become worried about being kicked out of the Sugababes because of the attack on her boyfriend on Christmas Eve.

The singer believes the controversy surrounding her partner Freddie Fuller could cost her a place in the group.

According to the Daily Mail, she has been so shaken by the attack on Fuller that she asked for her microphone to be turned down during the girls' recent gig at the 02 Arena because her vocals are not at their best.

A source commented: "Amelle is terrified this latest controversy could get her kicked out of the band.

"It is not the first time Freddie has hit the headlines for the wrong reason and she is worried it could jeopardise her place in the band.

"She didn't want the other girls to notice if her performance level dipped, so she asked the sound engineers at the O2 Arena to turn her microphone volume down during their gig.

"She wanted to make sure their other voices were louder than hers so it would mask any wobbles."

There were rumours last summer that the girl-group had given Berrabah a ultimatum over her boyfriend, although they later denied the allegations.

Its not exactly her fault, its all press all the same, Amy Winehouse gets bad press and sells loads.
They're not gonna axe her! its not her fault her boyfriend was attacked, they JUST released an album and have had their biggest hit of their 7 (8?) year career with her, they'd be stupid to get rid of her.
They can't axe her, she's the best out of the lot (Mutya and Sib-blah-blah included).
Amelle is clearly the best member, I don't think it's any coincidence that most of the 'Change' album seems to revolve around her either, imo. I'm not even considering her leaving as a possibility tbh -_-
If any of the girls left they'd be over, I think. It won't happen for a while though. ^_^
