For me I'd have to say the Vengaboys due to the fact that look at the spice girls and they were huge compared to atomic kitten and well i just think there single will flop more than vengaboys .

Well Vengaboys were obviously better at their peak! :P

 

They're both going to flop anyway. Like Backstreet Boys, Spice Girls etc. they've had their day! :(

I think both will flop. I remember liking both at the time but I think they're past it now. I think Atomic Kitten had mostly top 10 hits, with one reaching only #20, but I think this release could ruin that. The Vengaboys could have small success if they release a good dance track or something.

 

I think both singles will be their lowest charting so far though.

I liked their "Boom Boom Boom Boom" song.

both will flop. oh and blazeboy82 some of your info isnt right the fourth single by atomic kitten reached number 20 not 10. Someone like me reached 8 and cradle reached 10.

yeah there new single is called Party Life and scheduled for release late febuary/march

 

 

and cheers have updated accordingly, i was getting information from one site and it stated nothing for cradle and someone like me and the 4th single was a mistake and shouldnt have been 10 but 20 so thanks for pointing out my errors and

Atomic Kitten were nothing in comparison of popularity with the Spice Girls. I think Atomic Kitten could chart in the top 40 if they try and promote it, but at the moment I'm thinking top 30 at best.

 

Of course the Vengaboys could be lower than #97, maybe they wont do that badly but I'm thinking it could just scrape top 75. If the single is good it could make the top 40 though.

adi gallia - i have to say i agree with what you have said above

 

the chart positions for both groups will depend very much on finding the perfect song and doing alot of promotion and i mean alot every tv show for like 2-3 weeks before the single comes out

They'll both flop, it's so obvious. The singles will do better than the albums though of course.

Vengaboys make me shudder when I think of how I used to like some of their songs and the new Atomic Kitten track is dismal. They're still stuck WAYY in the past - they lost their girlband crown a long time ago.

I think Atomic Kitten could do alright... but I expect the Vengaboys to flop.
