New Order - Blue Monday [ 10 ] [55.56%]

Dexys Midnight Runners - Geno [ 4 ] [22.22%]

This one was very close for a long time before all BM fans jumped out and took the track through to the next round! So The Jam get over one hurdle only to be knocked out by a returning former flop! Right next up is a song I loved at the time and I am putting it up as I dug the album out over Xmas. So from Songs From the Big Chair is Tears for Fears with the anthemic Shout.

You have until whenever I get round to announcing the results to vote!

Easily New Order.

As far as Tears For Fears songs go Mad World, Everybody Wants To Rule The World, Head Over Heels & Sowing The Seeds Of Love would have been better choices IMHO.

Shout is horrifically overrated - 70% of their singles catalog is immensely better than that tune so Blue Monday blatantly!
