Tom Cruise has become the de-facto second in command of the Church of Scientology, according to a new biography - which makes an extraordinary attack on the star by comparing his 20-month-old daughter Suri to the Devil's child in the film Rosemary's Baby.

Andrew Morton's unauthorised biography claims Scientology has taken over the 45-year-old actor's life, with its officials selecting many of the staff at his Hollywood mansion.

Is Tom Cruise on a Scientology crusade or is it all nonsense?

of course its all nonsense......

with Tom Cruise, nothing would surprise me.

 

It all seems a little odd, the whole Nicole Kidman marriage.... they'd adopted children, and when she became pregnant, allegedly by him, and (allegedly) lost it, that's when they started divorce proceedings.

 

And however many chat show sofas he leaps on to declare his undying love for Katie Holmes... I don't believe a word of it. The artificial insemination story was what I thought all along to be honest, as far-fetched as it may sound.

 

There's been many, many Hollywood heroes who have led double lives throughout the years...and I firmly believe Cruise is one of these stars - but who we won't find out the real facts until after his death - or he has a public meltdown a la Michael Jackson (unlikely whilst cushioned by the Scientology cult).

 

And Morton may be a gossip-monger - but to make claims like this, there's no way on earth he'd do that without some pretty solid proof and hard evidence. You've seen the documentaries about how vicious Scientoligists get when their cult or members are brought to task - so, if I were Morton, I'd be looking over my shoulder for quite a while to come.
