Do you think it is a perception of teenagers world wide - or just British teeneagers?

Trust me, it is not just in Britain.

^the whole postcode thing in the UK is just a really cheap version of US east coast vs west coast. its just so tacky and just really pettiful. I feel deeply sorry for people who actually care about this whole E15 and E6 and Ewhatever. Its just so.... dumb and a complete waste of time.
That's no excuse for a lack of manners.

Exactly. I effing hate it when people say that, considering the majority of people were probably forced in to war rather than wanted to. So we're supposed to just give respect to old people for growing up? Lol yh k.

Can't stand being watched in shops either. And when I'm on the bus and, typically, you're average old women start nattering away (clearly hinting things about you or something) yet think they're being sly...and it's like, tbh bruv carry on like that and I WOULD rob your ass.

I hate where I work to because the oldies who come in ALWAYS think they're right, so I'll like sell them they're stuff and give them change etc, they'll have a go at me saying I've done everything wrong - followed my boss physically crying about it. Then low and behold, I was right - Not even a WHISPER of an apology for God's sake. UGH. I just hate their expectency of respect and to always be in the right etc.

I totally agree that adults and the eldery always(or mostly) assume that teenagers are yobs and when people stereotype me im more than ahppy to live up to the stereotype, im not generally a rude person and im quite respectful but if people assume im a 'yob' and start talking $h!t about me and stereotype me then i think i would be rude back if there going to be rude to me before doing something.

This is going sound crazy, but I swear its true

I went to alldays this evening and when I got out the car I could here this classical music and I'm thinking "who the eff has got classical music on this loud?!?!?!?"

The I released that it was coming from speakers outside the shop! I know the woman who works there so I asked her why they we're playing that kind of music, that loud. She said it was to stop "kids" from hanging around outside the shop.

Now it worked, which is good, because if I was working there at night I wouldnt want a bunch of kids hanging round outside, and I hate walking thru a gang of chavs to get to the shop door. But then I thought, well its not fair on everyone else is it really? I mean what if you lived in one of the houses nearby and you wanted an early night and it was hot so you wanted the window open a bit?

It just seemed a bit of a selfish way to get rid of gangs hanging around the shop, yes it works but I really dont think its fair on people who live nearby.
