I doubt anyone would want to comment on either The Ex or Alvin & The Chipmunks (well apart from the fact that they've ruined Which Doctor by going all R&B and bling :puke2: ) or the Brothers Soloman

so out of these TV shows which one would you think would most suit being stretched to a 90 minute + movie. which one would work the best and which one would end up like Holiday On The Buses??

Do comedy series work when made for the cinema??

really?!?!? - i thought all these tv spin off were supposed to be dodgy (and that was the first that came to mind)

 

the other way round from itv3's xmas skeds - the carry on's didnt make the transistion to the small screen going the other way round. - only managed to watch half of one!!

I'd say Arrested Development but only because I love it to pieces! It's so hilarious and the acting is f***ing amazingggg! <3

 

 

I didn't get the last question...but I voted for Brothers Soloman, I well can't imagine Will Arnett being as funny as anyone other than Gob hahaa.

its is so bad - it would have been embarrasing to sit thru if i was not the only one watching in the cinema - its got one laugh in it - the two brothers are at a sperm bank looking at all the porn so they can get jiggy with themselves in two cubicals - and the porn is typical big boobie stuff apart from one magazine which is actually a copy of National Geographic - they get their porn and go to the cubical but (ha ha) the magazine they really wanted to get jiggy with was...you've guessed it....

 

(this joke is quite similar to kevin smith's video list in clerks)

 

 

and the films got Malin Akerman in it, who you thought couldnt be in a worse film than the heartbreak kid last year.
