January 11, 200817 yr Author Toy-Box were better if its your thing and dont forget Daze and superhero The song was always an old Rock & Roll tune which the Cartoons covered...the original Alvin & The Chipmunks cartoon/band released the song decades ago well i think it was actually just by the chipmunk's 'dad' solo ('David Seville' - as played by Jason Lee in the film really called something like Ross Bagadagasarian) than being by Alvin proper - think this came in about 1955 before he started the chipmunks they were no second rate Aqua!!!!

I think it was in about 1958 - tho there are two Ross Bagadagasarian's - a father (sn) and a son (jr) - i think the father started it off in the 1950s and then died in the 1990s and his son ended up with the rights to the characters and so started up the franchize again mid-1990s with cartoons - tho cant be sure is the dates are spot on tho i think they recorded a version of Los Del Rio's classic latin dance tune the macaranna
