January 10, 200817 yr Author Sara's No.3 on actual sales but stalls at No.9 again here...its mad how they work this chart out... 55% airplay, 40% sales, 5% videoplay
January 10, 200817 yr I'm loving that Flo Rida song, well deserved No.1 in my opinion Nice climbs for Keyshia Cole's 'I Remember' & Janet's 'Feedback' too!
January 10, 200817 yr 55% airplay, 40% sales, 5% videoplay :puke2: Airplay should NEVER outweigh sales...
January 10, 200817 yr Yay new peak for Natasha!! and glad to see Jordin's new single has made its debut!! hopefully it will help albums sales out.
January 10, 200817 yr Brit non mover :) great climbs for Janet, OneRepublic :cheer: and debutes for Jordin and Carrie :D
January 10, 200817 yr Great for Jordin! Two songs now ^_^ "Tattoo" will go platinum until next week too! Already sold 966k
January 10, 200817 yr Author :puke2: Airplay should NEVER outweigh sales... Earlier this year it was 70% sales 30% airplay, but Billboard thought the sales influence maked that chart too irregular like the digital chart, so they put airplay more dominant again.

January 11, 200817 yr I really dont understand what has happened to Ashlee Simpsons new song Not doing very well so far :P only sumin like 90 on US i tunes ;)
January 11, 200817 yr Earlier this year it was 70% sales 30% airplay, but Billboard thought the sales influence maked that chart too irregular like the digital chart, so they put airplay more dominant again. I think it should have been 55% sales / 40% radio / 5% music video roatation.
January 11, 200817 yr Earlier this year it was 70% sales 30% airplay, but Billboard thought the sales influence maked that chart too irregular like the digital chart, so they put airplay more dominant again. irregular  it should be a chart that marks the country's most popular songs, not the songs that radio stations choose to play the most... If we let Radio 1 airplay into the official chart it would have even more terrible indie in it than it does at the moment :puke2:
January 11, 200817 yr Author I think it should have been 55% sales / 40% radio / 5% music video roatation. 100% sales, and that's it. Why does it matter what some boss at a radio decides to play? its what the people buy that matters, thank god the UK still hasnt given into the airplay atrocity.
January 11, 200817 yr 55% airplay, 40% sales, 5% videoplay That's why I don't follow the American chart anymore! -_-
