Posted January 13, 200817 yr Nashville celebrates Elvis http://www.jacksonsun.com/apps/pbcs.dll/ar.../801130311/1002 It’s good to see Nashville celebrating its links with Elvis. I haven’t been lucky enough to visit Nashville, but friends of mine who did (and who aren’t as big an Elvis fan as I) said it was a very special experience when they visited Studio B and the lights were turned down as 'Are You Lonesome Tonight' played. B) It’s interesting that the Mike Curb Foundation, who purchased Audubon Drive is behind Studio B and also the Johnny Cash Museum in Nashville. It’s good news that he’s playing a major part in restoring historic music industry locations especially when it comes to Elvis.
