January 15, 200817 yr what are the rules for download-only singles in australia? i know they just allowed them to chart, but clearly they have strange restrictions a la the uk charts last year
January 15, 200817 yr Author Yeah, I'm not really sure. I would like to know as well. It could possibly be that singles are only allowed to chart in the main chart a certain amount of weeks before the physical release.
January 16, 200817 yr As far as I know they are allowed only if the label wants to do so... In case of Britney (and it has also happened to Kylie) label haven't given a permission yet to include it on the main chart! Probably they won't give a permission until it's not released as a physical single to make a high debut on the chart! Do you remember? Kylie also entered at 1 despite the fact, it was available as download 1 week before its physical release!
